Magic Hotel in Skiathos Town

My sister and I stayed in this hotel in July. We'd highly recommend it, Excellent location, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff and well kept gardens. This was our first visit to Skiathos and it will be one of many. Thank you for making it so special.

We spend 9 days in the Magic Hotel. It is really MAGIC. Everything was excellent. Super spacious room, great services and amazing breakfast. A special thanks to Monica, from the reception. We are already thinking to return for one of our next holidays.

This was a lovely hotel. The service was excellent from everyone at the hotel.
Location is in the middle of the road going along the south of the island and 5 mins walk to a beautiful beach. The hotel has a box of donated beach items including inflatables, umbrella a d beach chairs.
2 mins to the bus stop and a shop.
A good selection of tavernas within a 5-8 walk.
Would definitely book again

We have just returned from a truly memorable stay at Magic Hotel. We have never experienced such a warm and welcoming reception from a hotel before. The whole team is lovely and it feels like a family. They are led by Monica, who was outstanding—we chatted with her a lot, and her passion for the hotel and the island is so clear.

The small, friendly team goes out of their way to ensure that every guest has a relaxing and enjoyable stay. They not only recommended fantastic restaurants but also helped us make reservations, securing great tables for us. The lady at the pool bar (whose name we never got) deserves a special mention as well—she takes such care in her work, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

During our visit, it was my daughter’s birthday, and the whole team made her feel incredibly special. She had an extra-large chocolate milk at breakfast from Jimmy that morning, and in the evening when we dined in the restaurant, we were greeted with balloons, a banner, and a thoughtful present from the team. We were also given an upgrade to what I would describe as a mini villa (without a kitchen), and it was amazing—so clean, comfortable, and spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a utility room with a washing machine, which was incredibly helpful. The huge balcony with lovely views and a jacuzzi was such a treat for all of us, and something my now 12-year-old will always remember. She was absolutely blown away by the team’s kindness toward her birthday.

The area is also fantastic—very easy access to buses that take you into town and to the beaches. There are local supermarkets and plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to head further afield every night.

Jimmy and Julian deserve a special mention—they were fantastic throughout our stay, always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. Monica also went above and beyond for my mum, who had an injured foot—she encouraged her to visit the medical centre, and she was so right to do so, even giving us “evil eyes” to warn of danger!

Magic Hotel is truly exceptional, with a wonderful team led by Monica. We cannot recommend it highly enough, and we are sure we will return in the future.

Lovely Hotel. Great location near a beach and with buses every 10 minutes in both directions to Skiathos town and Koukounaries.

Well run with very friendly and efficient staff. At reception, Monica and her colleagues were exceptionally helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast was top notch. Restaurant has sea view on shaded outside veranda. Evening meal was very good with individual menu choices.

Rooms very well appointed. Everything spotlessly clean and decor in good taste.

The two ladies at the pool bar were very friendly and welcoming. Nice pool with comfy sun beds.

Huge thank you to the team at Magic Hotel. We will certainly be coming back.

We had two junior suites at the very top of the hotel. Lots of steps which offset some of the many calories consumed during the holiday!

Gorgeous, clean and well situated family run hotel. Everyone from the waiter who remembered our coffee order in the morning to the very helpful desk staff and cleaning staff made sure that we always had what we needed and felt welcomed. The breakfast was very nice and offered a choice for everyone’s needs, the swimming pool was large and clean too. They were kind to offer us luggage storage on the last day after check out and then facilities to shower (including shower gel and towels) before we had to take our flight back to England. The bus stop for the bus that goes from Kokounaries to Skiathos Town is 3 minutes away. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning a holiday in Skiathos.

Me and my girlfriend spent a week in this lovely hotel in Skiathos. The hotel has very helpful and polite staff especially Maria who's working behind reception. Koukounaries beach is 10min by bus and the town centre 20min.The rooms are very clean with AC of course and the place is quiet night time.
We'd happily stay at the hotel, again.

We had an amazing week at the hotel. The receptionists were very helpful with recommendations, we felt well looked after. It is also in a very ideal location halfway between the City and Koukounaries, leaving is plenty of opportunities to explore the island. We had a fantastic view from our balcony over the sea

We had an unplanned visit to this hotel. We'd already booked into another place (which shall remain nameless) as part of a package but after 3 days we hotfooted it out of that dump and went to the Magic Hotel which was much much nicer despite being the same star rating. The room was light, airy and had a great sea view. The great aircon made for a top night's sleep. As for the staff....brilliant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Even the breakfast was lovely. If we return to Skiathos we'll make a beeline for this lovely hotel. Thank you for rescuing our holiday!!
