Petra Nera Skiathos in Skiathos Town

My wife and I have just returned from Petra Nera and would like to share our experiences....the holiday overall was excellent and the hotel should take great pride in being the reason for that! The rooms are in new order after a recent refit, and with comfy bed, hot Amazon style shower, and attention to detail at every turn, we were very happy with our room!
The hotel is set into a hillside over 3 levels, but there is a lift available, and a car can be summoned to take you up (or down) to any level you wish..
The pool area is immaculately clean and well maintained, and served beers, cocktails and snack foods which are all very good indeed.
The pool isn't the biggest, but is perfectly acceptable on a hot sunny day and as there were always many sunbeds available when we were there (so comfy as well) it certainly isn't crowded...in fact, it's a very relaxing experience, which I suppose is the objective! There are many lovely restaurants within walking distance and a small shop just a few minutes walk away for the basics..
The staff in this hotel are first class. I know many reviews mention them, and with good reason..they are available for any help or advice you may need, and delivered with warmth and a genuine smile. Their positive attitude is a credit to them, and spreads throughout the hotel guests to leave everyone happy. A big shout out to Eleni, Esi, Michaela, Nena, Aaron, Costas, Aris, Artea, and also the cleaning staff.
We had such a great time, that we've immediately booked again for next year.
Congratulations everyone, you've got a genuine gem on your hands with this hotel!

I have left a gushing review on trip advisor but just to repeat it here in summary is that we had a fabulous holiday. The staff were exceptional. We were with my nephews who need some additional support but they were made to feel very welcomed and special with photos of them with the staff at the end of the holiday. The hotel was perfect in every way, super clean and modern and mirrors!! I have stayed in way too many places where a lack of mirrors and sockets is alarmingly bad. Not here though. There is a steep incline to the rooms and hotel reception but there was always the guys - sorry I've forgotten their names- ready to give us a lift. Hope to come back next year. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and give excellent service.
We had a deluxe room with jacuzzi, it was spacious and nicely decorated & the jacuzzi was brilliant. It would have been nice to have proper drawers for non-hanging clothes. The shower was always hot. Bed and pillows super comfy. The rooms are beautifully cleaned every day. There isn't a system to not refresh the towels daily and the Aircon turned on while we were out - it was lovely coming home to a cool room and clean towels but the hotel wasn't especially eco-orientated in this way. the Pool bar serves really good Pina Colada and the pool is lush with a great view. I'd definitely go back. The hotel is close to the bus stop too which is really convenient.

We stayed at Petra Nera in Skiathos for 7 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

Staff: Truly amazing – always helpful, full of life, and smiling. They made us feel welcome from the very first moment and created such a warm atmosphere throughout our stay.
Captain Aaron,Kostas, Eleni , Esi , Michaella the lovely team from breakfast ,the lovely lady from housekeeping- you all are brilliant

Cleanliness: The hotel maintains very high standards. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding provided – everything spotless and comfortable.

Surroundings: The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. We were lucky to have a room with a sea view, which was simply fantastic to wake up to every morning.

Pool facilities: Although we only spent one day by the pool (we preferred exploring the island), we found the pool area to be very clean, with tidy sunbeds and excellent service. The bar service was great too, and the gentleman at the pool bar was especially kind and friendly.

Food: Absolutely delicious! Every meal we tried was amazing, and we highly recommend that all guests take the opportunity to enjoy the food at the hotel.

Room service: Efficient and good – no complaints at all.

Overall, we had such a positive experience and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Petra Nera. You bring real credit to the hotel with your kindness and professionalism.

We chose this hotel as our Honeymoon destination. We were not disappointed. The staff were attentive, kind and always willing to go above and beyond. The rooms were regularly made up and all public area were spotless. The room we had (Superior side sea view - 308) was beautiful and spacious. We loved it so much, we booked it for June 2026!!!

The best hotel on Skiathos! Do not think where to go, come here, everybody will be happy! Rooms are very clean, breakfast is good, view is perfect, position is very very good (middle of the island), beach is 3 min far away from the room. Hotel Telis should have 4*!! Really ALL ALL THE BEST!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Excellent experience.What you see on the pictures is what you get. The stuidos were cleaned every day,the bedsheets and the towels were changed in every two days.The rooms and the balconies are spacious.The owners were very polite.Definitelly recommending.

Great location in Agia Paraskevi, on the main bus route, easy walking distance to the beach and bars/restaurants.
I had a lovely apartment but was in the second building - the views from the balcony are gorgeous, but that's because it is situated up a steep hill. You have one steep climb up to reception, and then again to the top apartments.
But was very clean and comfortable, air con great (not noisy like some places so can leave on overnight) just needs a kettle on the kitchen area and would be pretty perfect.

We had a great time in Hotel Telis. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is also good, with a market, bus stop, restaurants and the beach all at walking distance. And the best part, the view of the sea is beautiful. Recommended!
