Alkyon in Skiathos Town

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and loved it so much we’ve booked to go back for our 31st!!! Anna and the team looked after us so well. Special thanks to Anna who made our stay extra special with so many thoughtful touches -she’s an absolute gem!! Can’t wait to go back!

Only a few minutes from the airport right in the harbour so walking distance to the buses, taxis, bars, restaurants and boat trip. Lovely staff and nice food, hotel was clean and tidy only downside was pool very small but beaches only a short bus ride away. Terraced balcony for breakfast with fantastic views. Will definitely book there again

Wow what an amazing place staff were so helpful and breakfast was amazing so much choice staff certainly put the hours in hotel was spotless special thanks to Anna,Christopher,vasilis,Harris,Alexandre and pomtelis we can't wait to come back if I had any negative would be sun beds around pool unless you want to get one at 5pm you be very lucky

Lovely hotel, location absolutely ideal for the harbour and bus "station". Breakfast buffet is outstanding. We stayed in a ground floor room but would recommend a higher floor at the front for best views of the harbour. Staff helpful and plentiful. Buses very cheap and frequent. We took one to the monastery and another along the coast where you have a choice of coves and pretty beaches. We did the Mama Mia cruise to Skopelos and Alonissos, as well as walking trails. I think that 5 days would be sufficient to get a good feel of the island.

Stayed at the Alkyon Hotel in Skiathos Town for a week and could not praise it enough. The bedrooms are large and looked after by the staff every day and included a change of towels etc. The Continental Breakfast bar was incredible with its selection of hot and cold to pick from. The view from here was stunning and the staff were very good at setting up fresh tables ready for guests. Its location in the town is very good and within five minutes you are close to all the bars,restaurants and shopping area,s. This hotel I strongly recommend .

Lovely ambience, wonderful staff could not do enough for you. A big mention to two ladies on reception Anna and Alexandra..so friendly, charming and very helpful.The maids cleaned the rooms beautifully. Lovely time.Thankyou so much

We have just enjoyed a fantastic stay at Alkyon hotel (12-19 sept). The hotel is situated in the old harbour and is the perfect location, with great views for exploring the island from. The hotel restaurant is a sea front restaurant offering a good variety of food and drinks. We were half board during our stay which was a very cheap upgrade, so had nothing to lose. As it turned out we ate there most nights as the choice of 2 staters, 2 mains and 2 deserts were perfect for us and very good quality. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast was buffet style with so much to choose from. It would be impossible not find something to eat. Our room was clean, tidy and well laid out. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Very good air conditioning as well. We had read some negative comments but we could find nothing to find fault with anything. Some people must be very hard to please, that or they lie on their review! Perfect hotel + perfect island = perfect holiday, thank you Alkyon Hotel

Our stay at Alkyon Hotel was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel so welcome. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Excellent service and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

Clean , spotless and at the best location. Rooms were spatious and clean!
Staff was amazing, they were there anything we would ask. Lots of suggestions for boat trips. The view is amazing! Breakfast one of the best i ever had! Service fantastic! I will certainly be back! Can't forget the cocktails at the bar! Food at the restaurant "carnayo" was so tasteful! See you soon!

Fantastic hotel. It was a gem! Clean and spotless! Close to almost everything! Bars and restaurants within walking distance! Staff maybe was the best I have ever seen!
I would definitely come back!
