Angeliki Beach Hotel in Skiathos Town

After 9 years we finally returned with our now grown up sons to Skiathos and there was no debate about where we were going to stay, it was only ever going to be a return to the lovely Angeliki Beach Hotel. We weren’t disappointed. Back in the same but updated 2 bedroom studio with the accompanying gorgeous views over the garden and out to sea. Immediately we felt ourselves relax. And that was before we stepped down into the gorgeous garden. Can’t think of a more perfect spot for a sunbed than under an olive tree with the accompanying chorus of cicadas overlooking the gorgeous Megali Ammos beach. In the hotel garden is the Swell Beach Bar, a fabulous spot to grab some lovely homemade food and drinks with the accompanying beautiful views out to sea. This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the shores of the beach and only a 15 minute walk up into beautiful Skiathos town. A massive thanks to Nikos and all his wonderful staff for our spotless rooms and for again making us feel so welcome. Hopefully our return visit won’t take so long and we already know where we will be staying!…

This was our fourth stay at the Angeliki Beach Hotel and as always we were not disappointed. Our room was newly renovated spacious and comfortable. Cleaned daily by the very hard working housekeeping ladies. Beds and towels changed every few days. Our room with terrace overlooked the garden and Aegean. The Angeliki is a great base to explore Skiathos and excellent for chilled relaxing days in the garden a stones throw from the beach. It’s a home from home for us and we will be back. Just got home from an absolutely amazing stay.
I seriously couldn’t fault anything about it.

I was greeted by the owner Nikos who helped me with my bags from the taxi to my bungalow and walked into a lovely place, bright, cosy, spotlessly clean with EVERYTHING one would need for a lovely stay.

The shower is powerful with constant hot water, the bedding was great quality and even the dressing table had a bright light above the mirror with a socket next to it with a lovely stool where you could just gaze into their beautiful garden from the window behind. Lovely big window behind the bed which gave a lovely flow of fresh air. Big wardrobe with lots of hangers, iron and a large fridge. There was even a plastic stool in the bathroom to sit if needed

After checking it all out and unpacking I Sat on my lovely terrace with refreshments from the bar which is one minute away and all I could hear was the birds singing and the waves crashing in watching the ocean and lovely gardens full of beautiful trees, flowers and plants. You could immediately see that the whole place was loved and looked after. The garden was well maintained and all of the surrounding area. The smell of the plants and flowers were Devine!

The restaurant on the premises was fantastic, lunch there every day which is very reasonable priced and amazing service. I then took a swim and led on free sun-beds in the beautiful garden looking onto the beach and sea.

Lovely quality sunbeds in shade if needed. Or full sun watching the surroundings. With hammocks and picnic areas for quiet time.

The walk into the town was 5 minutes away from my accommodation either by beach walk or the beautiful cobbled streets . So no bus, or taxi required !

The place is so beautiful and tranquil with such a lovely vibe. Busy but peaceful, lovely clientele and staff.

The late evening walk back was safe and lit well for a chilled stroll after being in town.
The moon was directly in front of the premises while sat for a night cap and hearing the waves in the sea. Lit up beautifully.

Bedtime …
With your own front private door from your terrace garden , with a double lock I felt so safe and secure. No noise around at all and best of all hardly any mosquitos because of the beautiful plants that had been thought out around to help prevent them ! And No bushes which we know they love !!
So no mosquito bites I hence to add on this trip 🩷🙏

I have been coming to the island for 17yrs and I can honestly say this is by far my favourite place. I felt safe and at home and ALL the staff are the most helpful, accommodating, friendly people who all speak perfect English. They honestly can’t do enough for you. It’ was like staying with family!

You can truly see that they love their work environment, all get on well and want to do as much as they can to make your stay perfect.

A very special shout out to Nikos, Panos & Christina who picked me some flowers and painted on a stone my name to make me feel at home as I was a solo traveller for my first time.

The whole team work so extremely hard to make everything just perfect for your dream holiday 🤗

I would 💯 % recommend this place to any adults who would like to experience a dream vacation and just to say , I am one of the most fussiest people out there ! lol

Can't fault this little hotel,Great welcome from owner Nicos and staff at the Swell Bar. Bungalow was spotless and cleaned every day. excellent garden area with free sunbeds and fantastic views across the bay, Steps down to the beach mean you are about 15 meters from lounger to sea. Had both breakfasts and lunches in the swell bar, food excellent and varied menu. All staff great always happy to serve you with a smile. About 20 min walk to main street in Skiathos town. Bus stop number 5 outside the hotel. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Wow, love this place!
Just returned from our second visit in 2 years - already planning a return next year!
Location is perfect, right on the beach.
Rooms are modern and spotlessly clean.
Gardens are very tranquil, no loud people or blaring music - just what we needed to relax.
Swell bar does good food too and is very good value for money - with the best view.
Cannot fault this hotel or the friendly staff at all.

It is a lovely family hotel with all the service you would want. The hotel has an amazing sea view and really great garden with the lounge chairs. Everything is in walking distance - shops, beach, restaurants, city centre and the bus stops just in front of the hotel. Moreover the stuff is really lovely and want to provide the best time you ever had. Thank you for everything, we had an amazing time!

We loved our stay. The staff is very friendly and kind. The apartments are only a few steps from the beautiful beach and the sunbeds in the hotel area are free for use. We had a amazing holiday.
