Beautifully located medium size hotel up the hill. Steep walk to the beach on a narrow gravel path. Rooms are dated and in need of maintenance. Poor kitchen standard, lack of hot water half the time. Closer to a three star hotel than a four star. Owner family are nice though, and surroundings are locely.

First time visiting the island of Skiathos and we loved it. We spent a week from Friday 19th September at Villa Christina which was wonderful. Beautiful grounds with pretty garden areas, the pool was lovely and the bar area relaxing. We had a wonderful welcome by Helena and all the staff. Our studio room was cleaned daily. We ate a few different times during our stay and everything was delicious. The bus routes are fantastic, we were at bus stop 13. We'd already read up about the steep hill to the apartments so were aware and actually enjoyed the exercise and views in the beautiful sunshine walking up the hill. All in all we loved our visit and will return. Thank you Villa Christina.

Lovely people, very welcoming. Located up a hill so not for the faint hearted or infirm. Fortunately we were neither and enjoyed the 15 min walk down to the bus stop breathing in the beautiful woodland air and seeing the stars on the way back. Buses are very frequent and only 2 euros into Skiathos Town or any other stop. Lovely beaches close to the hotel, one being through the hotel grounds and down a path through the woods. Strong shoes recommended, not flipflops/sliders. Overall, a brilliant holiday.

First time staying at this hotel despite visiting Skiathos several times over the years. Got off to a slightly negative start as we were put in room different to the one we expected which was a bit tired but the next day we were relocated into a different room in one of the main buildings. Overall we really enjoyed our one week stay. The owner Miltoss and his right hand man Theo were fantastic. The rooms were cleaned daily , pool area albeit small was adequate for the amount of guests, restaurant available that served simple but great food and a bar area that was great for meeting new guests. A car would be recomended although you could walk down a steep track to a nearby beach and the bus into town was about a ten minute walk as well. We hope to back again next year

Without a doubt, the best place to stay on Skiathos. The location, accommodation, and service are impeccable. Many beautiful beaches are nearby, just a few minutes away by car, as well as the island’s center. I spend every summer in Greece, and this week at Villa Christina is surely among the best holidays I’ve ever had. The owners make sure you feel at home, which makes the experience even more wonderful. Highly recommended!

Felt welcome from the start - very friendly and helpful people. The pool was lovely and clean. We had a couple of lunches at Villa Christina and it was very good. The rooms were cleaned daily. Roughly a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and restaurant. They offered us a room to shower and get ready on our last day there, which was greatly appreciated. Would stay there again.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I want to make a post as an alert to be careful and under no circumstances take accommodation at Villa Christina, Skiathos without booking. I purchased a holiday directly from them in March. 4 families with 7 children between 1-12 years old, who were left, as it were, with their eyes in the sun the day before the holiday when the owner said that unfortunately he could no longer accept us because he had some problems with the boilers. 0 empathy especially since we were also with small children. He told us that he gave us other options to help us: an accommodation 3 times more expensive and another where they did not accept us with children and that was it for tomorrow. I spoke to a Romanian who worked in Skiathos in tourism and she said that they are known for such practices. They take your money, they use them, then they say that they can no longer accept you because they sublet at a higher price. He very angrily told me that he would give us our money back and I told him that's not how it works, we also have plane tickets, rented cars and he said that it's none of his business and then hung up on me. So avoid as much as you can or take it through booking. I don't recommend it!!!

What an amazing find, great Greek family run hotel in the most beautiful location, wonderful hosts, great apartment super clean, fresh towels every day with brilliant shower ample hot water. The pool area and bar is super relaxing and added bonus of on site restaurant so no need to travel out if you want food…. For the first time in all of my trips to Skiathos this is one place I was more than happy to spend the entire day. The family that run the hotel are lovely, really welcoming and take great care of all of their guests… I will be returning in August and have recommended to all of my friends…. Book you won’t be disappointed!

This is Greek hospitality! Experienced so many times in Greece but never fails to make my heart sing. They know how to make you feel like your staying with relatives!! The accommodation, pool and gardens are spotless, the service is excellent. Lovely area to relax day and night. As a solo traveller you may need to get a taxi after dark which is very easy to do around 10-20 Euros. Maybe not the easiest place for this reason. The walk to the nearest beach would not suit anyone who is not able to do a woody path or get the bus and then 10-15 mins along the road. It’s authentic and wonderful xx
