Stayed here as a family for a week and whist I am happy we got our money's worth and it was decent value, there are a few details i believe the hotel could do which would have made our stay 5 Star. Great place and a great atmosphere! Having a room with your own pool and access to a shared pool as well as having a beach close by was amazing. We stayed in the apartment with the pool and it was a lovely spot. The pool is great and the apartment was very clean. We rented a car to get around which was necessary because the location is quite remote, but that was what we wanted. It's a nice, quiet location.

We spent a lovely week here at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct 22. Location was good, rooms were even better and the food was really good too! Fantastic that guests are able to use all 3 hotels and the water park. My son was able to find something to do for the entire week and loved to swim most days. We had a great time at the hotel. The staff is humble, polite and some times over-submissive! The rooms are ok, we had a family swim-up which was spacious enough (couple, no kids) but the room divider is made of rattan and not sound proof. I arrived here in dread having read some reviews and it was nowhere near as bad as I expected. The location is excellent lots of nearby shops really close to the beach but it is sand and pebbles and not much of it! It did however look nice and was okay to walk along. We're in a studio. Although it's quite old fashioned, it's very neat, the beds are very comfortable and the AC is top. The wifi is almost non existent. The parking is for 4 cars and you need to book it separately. You can park on the street. The swimming pool is enough for the capacity of the hotel. The beach is about 100m away. We had a fabulous 7-night stay in August and couldn’t fault a thing. Our shower had a small issue on the first evening, but this was resolved immediately by maintenance staff. Superb family holiday. The location is great, just on the edge of the resort so nice and quiet for families, but literally directly on the beach. The pool is great, lots of sun loungers too, never had to worry about not getting one ! The rooms are spotless and the view from our balcony was unreal. Deluxe Ocean View room was very spacious and very large outdoor balcony. The pool and beach were great. Very sandy beach. Chairs and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. Just returned from a week staying at this hotel. The location was perfect close to everything. The hotel was clean and rooms were a good size. We had a great 2 week stay in a superior second floor apartment, it was very clean, a good size and the balcony had an AMAZING view. The pool was lovely and did alternate days with the beach. The location is about ten or twenty minutes drive from the airport. Overall it is suitable for vacation and leisure. The room is very beautiful and modern, very casual and comfortable. There are cats in the yard and the breakfast is pretty good. It’s just that the transportation may not be that convenient, so you need to make an appointment or rent a car.

One of my favourite places I have stayed. La caretta despite being on the main road of alykanas is quiet. Exactly what I wanted. It’s clean and facilities are ideal. Staff are so friendly and classic Greek friendly hospitality. I can’t wait to be back.

The best hotel in alykanas, we’ve stayed there a few times over the past couple of years. The owners are amazing, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely clean and modern. They are located in the centre of Alykanas, which was perfect for us, with a short walk to the beach. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We have been visitor's to this area for many years . On a recent walk we spotted these suites and were looking at them over the fence . Alex invited us in to talk and gave us a guided tour and took us into an empty property. What a stunning place and what a lovely man Alex is . If your looking for relaxation but not to far away from the tavernas and restaurants this is ideal.

In our opinion the hotel is not a four star however its a good 3+. The reception area and bar is pleasant and welcoming and the staff are very accommodating. Our room was tried and in need of modernisation the bathroom is very small with a shower over the bath not the best as personnel preference would be a shower only but the room did have a sea view and balcony. We love this place. The beach is a stone throw away. Gently sloping into the warm water. Good location for the bars and restaurants. Honestly cannot say a bad word about this place.

Just returned from a 10 day holiday .Stayed in the new block so can't comment on the old appartments. New rooms great and the pool.in front was never too busy ,unlike the other pools.The best part about this hotel is the location, perfect for famillies.The beach is a stones throw and the local restaurants and bars are a 5 min walk if that . Initially given the wrong rooms and staff did nothing to resolve which was DISGRACEFUL. This hotel is not 4 stars in my opinion. Location is superb and cleanliness is great. Breakfast has many options but becomes repetitive if you're staying for 7 days. The hotel is on the hill, a perfect location with the fantastic view to oversee the entire Zakynthos town and harbor. The pool and the restaurant terrace have this wonderful view and the ocean side rooms and suites as well. The restaurant has great food for me, the menu changes by day so it never got be bored. And the staffs are very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay a lot.

Amazing hotel, specialy suite rooms with privat pools

This hotel is great the people are great lovely and cannot do enough to help you and make sure you have a nice holiday, I would love to go back, but unfortunately I have mobility issues, and the mattress are for me impossible for me to sleep on, and I am in pain because they are so uncomfortable. Having read some of the poor reviews I was a little worried about coming here, but I needn't have been. The location could not be better; the place is spotlessly cleaned and the food is just fantastic. I think some of the previous reviewers who have slated this place just haven't travelled very much (or were expecting a UK-standard four star). But they're forgetting we're on a Greek island here....

Spacious and bright room, great location

The room is quite big. The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth. The driver who picked me up at the airport said that you must not drink the tap water, even if it is boiled, and the hotel does not provide free drinking water.

It is a pretty good hotel that can be booked in the off-season. The room is not too big, there is free parking, it faces the sea, it is not far from the port and the airport, and the breakfast is also rich.

Very happy we stayed here, good location only a few minutes from town. All staff very friendly and professional. The best breakfast we had in our 2 week trip. Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim. A good choice
