Cavo Orient Beach Hotel & Suites in Tragaki

I honestly don’t know where the bad reviews are from, everything is fantastic! The people that work here are so sweet and polite. Always smiling and happy, always willing to help. The people truly made our stay special. The food is very good, something different every day. Lots of variety. Fresh fruit and vegetables always. The drinks are also very good. Lots of different drinks to choose from and the bartender will also make you something that isn’t on the list. Bartenders are super friendly! The beach bar is not included in all inclusive but the drinks are not expensive. The hotel and rooms are kept extremely clean. Someone is always walking around cleaning all day. Also there is plenty of sun beds available and most people don’t leave their towels there all day which is a huge plus. The hotel has beautiful views all around. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had one of the best vacations!

Really nice hotel quite location. Good size rooms. Good beds. Everyday cleaning, fresh towels and free water. Service in the restaurant is perfect. Really friendly staff. ❤️

Excellent location in the immediate vicinity of the sea and a peaceful environment. Perfect gastronomy with a rich selection. Great service and the staff – namely Yannis 😊 Beautiful pools. The only negative is the inappropriate behavior of a part of the Polish clientele, whose inconsiderate approach disrupts the comfort of other guests. After all, the notice in Polish in the dining area regarding not taking food away speaks for itself. We also had problematic Polish neighbors, but our request at the reception to change rooms was not granted. Only a series of excuses came from the staff, even though plenty of vacant rooms were available throughout our stay. I would award five stars for the hotel itself, but due to the unhelpful attitude at the reception, I am giving only four.

A very pleasant and spotless hotel in every respect, with very clean pools and a very friendly and professional welcome. The reception staff were pleasant and competent! A special mention goes to the beach barman, Yiannis, who is very friendly, makes excellent cocktails, is very kind, and thank you for his delightful musical selection.

We stayed at Cavo Orient Beach Hotel & Suites and honestly it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

The customer service stood out straight away, every staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely made the stay feel easy and relaxed.

The all-inclusive buffet had plenty of variety with fresh options every day, and it never felt repetitive. The pool bar was also a highlight — good drinks, decent snacks, and quick service without long waits.

Our beachside suite with a private pool was the real standout. Waking up right next to the sea and having that level of privacy made the trip feel a bit special every day.

Overall, an incredible hotel if you want good food, great service, and a more premium, relaxed beach stay.

Stayed 5 nights in early Sept with my adult daughter. Arrived late at night - reception staff very welcoming and we were happy to find sandwiches, a beautiful Greek salad and bottle of wine in our room. We had booked a room with shared pool but were given room upgrade with a private pool and sea view. Lovely spacious room but terrace and pool remained completely in the shade all day long, so the pool was freezing. Never went in it except to ice my foot after I was stung by a wasp! Room only about 50m from the sea, great view and lovely to hear waves crashing on beach. Hotel has loads of sunbeds, never an issue getting one. The most popular ones were on a grassy area by our room next to the pebbly beach, but there were also lots of sunbeds up by the pool with amazing views out to sea. Weather was perfect - hot but always a lovely breeze. We were half board - food was ok, reasonable selection but not much fish available when we were there. Salads good though. "Hot" food was lukewarm at best, mainly because the plates were cold - they didn't have the usual hot plate stacker, which would be an easy fix. Hotel staff all friendly and room clean and well-equipped. Bed was really comfortable. Very well stocked supermarket just up the road, but only a couple of bars/restaurants in the area - it's not a touristy place, which was fine for us but might not suit others. We went for nice walks in the evening, it's a residential area with lots of olive groves. Lots of cats and kittens around, which is always a bonus for us!
