Sea View Village in Vasilikos

We had a great stay and enjoyed the friendliness of the whole staff and the well maintained hotel complex. Our room was very spacious with a big terrace with sea view. We would have preferred a studio on a higher floor with an even more spectacular sea view but maybe next time. The beds are excellent plus an insect screen door ensure a good sleep. The only unpleasant thing was the intense bad smell in the bathroom, probably a drainage problem? The walk down to the beach was pleasant and the way back a bit steep but if you’re in an average shape it’s no problem. There’s also a shuttle bus but we didn’t want to depend on the fixed schedules. We enjoyed the rich buffet for breakfast and the always lovingly prepared meals for dinner which is a la carte. So thanks to the lovely staff that made us feel so welcomed!

Arrived 29th Aug till 9th Sept. Lovely warm welcome by Maria and her hospitality was continuous throughout our stay. Room 302 was lovely overlooked the pool but also beautiful sea view. Peaceful resort always available sunbeds and sunbed towels replaced through the day. Ate in the restaurant a few times and enjoyed breakfast especially the home made products and the fig jam. Lots of fresh figs on nearby trees. Hired a care for 5 days and visited 5 different beaches plus Zante town. Thank you to the lovely Anastasia for taking us and picking us up from the local beach. Would love to come back one day. Really had a truly amazing holiday.

Thankfully we have one further day left to enjoy everything that the team at this hotel provides to make this a really wonderful holiday experience. It can’t be faulted. The warmness of the staff is exceptional as are the facilities. The rooms are large, comfortable and the pool and bar are superb. It’s a 10/10 from the Francis Family. Thank you Maria and everyone. This is JUST what we needed.

I just had to share about our amazing week on Zakynthos. We booked last minute hoping for some sunshine and found a lovely family-run hotel in the hills of Vasilikos. After reading the reviews, it ticked all the boxes for a quiet and traditional stay. The hotel is set in beautiful hills with a large mountain behind it, a few miles from Argassi, which is perfect if you want something peaceful, away from busier resorts. The views of the sea are lovely.  It’s definitely a hilly area, so hiring a car is a good idea. There are about 40 rooms, and despite it being the start of the summer holidays, the hotel never felt crowded. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic, perfect for spending the day at or jumping into when we got back from exploring Nearby, there are four tavernas and a small shop. Even though some online reviews weren’t great, we had only positive experiences and enjoyed the food and friendly service, I’ll be reviewing them also. What really made our stay so special were the people.  Marie greeted us warmly, and the maître d’ and the restaurant team , provided a wonderful service, Mark the barman was always friendly, and Georgina at the pool bar was exceptional, mixing great cocktails and offering fantastic advice for local tips, all while putting up with my silly jokes. Also, the handyman deserves a shoutout for teaching me a bit of Greek each morning! This trip really showed me that the people make the place. Marie, if you see this, keep doing what you’re doing you have a brilliant team there. Maybe think about adding air conditioning to the pool bar though, it got very warm in the evenings and melted my daiquiri too fast! My only other advice for anyone visiting, I’d recommend skipping the rosé. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Sea View Village is an amazing hotel with the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the personal welcome at the entrance by manager Maria, to the groundsman Yannis! The warmness and friendliness of all the staff members make it feel like a true home away from home. We had dinner there 4 out of 7 nights and every meal was lovely. Dino and Valeria in the restaurant are wonderful and Maria organised a whole big birthday cake for my daughter, who turned 20 whilst there. Anastasia at the front desk cannot do enough for you and made all our requests seem seamless, like bookings excursions and car hiring. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the hotel on the whole is very clean. Bar staff are friendly (shout out to Mark and Georgina!). The location of the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, which makes for a tranquil break if that's what you're looking for. Anastasia will drive you to the local beach (best one we came across) and pick you up at 4pm. We will be back next year!

Absolutely lovely hotel, staff were just lovely. Breakfast great, homemade cake. I don’t think it’s suitable for young children as the paddling area is quite deep and not much to do. I had a lovely room with a sea view. Only criticism is that you can’t pay as you go so the end of the holiday is not the time to get a large bill, room tax etc. big shout out to the handy man such a lovely guy and Maria .

Just returned from another fabulous stay at the seaview and each time we see what keeps us coming back. The apartments are comfortable ,extremely clean ,well maintained with superb views.the hosts are amazing and there isn't anything too much for them.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, with 3 authentic tavernas and a supermarket just 10 minutes walk away. We had a very spacious apartment with spectacular sea views which was clean and very comfortable. The pool area was stunning. Special thanks to Alina, Mark and Georgina who looked after this area so well. We preferred the quietness of the beach most days and the lovely Anastasia drove a daily shuttle to and from the beach. She also worked on reception and could not do enough to answer any questions we had. She had a lovely, calm and professional manner and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a varied selection at breakfast. We also had dinner there twice and the food cooked by Denis was very good. Thanks also to Valeria and Dino for looking after us so well in the restaurant. Maria is an excellent manager so the hotel is run smoothly. Book with confidence if you're looking for a peaceful holiday as you won't be disappointed. It's a wonderful place with charming staff.

We loved everything about this hotel. We visited with our 2 children (3&8) and it was perfect! The room was split with a mezzanine upstairs that had 2 beds, and a huge king size downstairs. The room was massive, extremely clean, amazing view and extremely peaceful. The pool was amazing, the kids also loved playing in the jacuzzi ☺️ All the staff were so happy and accommodating, they couldn’t do more for us. 10/10 - would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

I can honestly say this was the best. We could not fault it. I would go as far to say it was perfect. All the staff were fantastic. Maria the Manager throughly spoilt us. Nothing was too much trouble. She was honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. A beautiful soul. The attention to detail at the resort was second to none. Beautifully clean. Rooms cleaned & changed everyday. Even the linen smelt lovely. The place itself was so pretty. Decor lovely & I can see all those tasteful touches are Maria's doing. All the rooms are individual with top quality furnishings. The breakfasts were also lovely & with fresh, quality & healthy local produce. We were very sad to leave. This was a very special place & so lucky we chose this. It certainly was beyond our expectations. So thank you again lovely Maria & her fantastic staff. Alina you also made my holiday.
