Arion Resort in Vasilikos

Disappointing! I consider this hotel to be a joke. Unfortunately, I had different expectations. In my opinion, this hotel doesn’t even deserve one star, starting with the services, the staff, and the so-called "all-inclusive" meals. I don’t think I’ve ever had food as bland and limited in variety as here. The vegetables tasted like cardboard — which is unacceptable, especially considering we’re in Greece, in peak season, where you’d normally expect much better quality. Putting the food aside, many times we found rusty cutlery, and the plates were often poorly washed. On top of that, this hotel is not suitable for families with children. Starting with the high chairs — not only were they filthy, but honestly, the ones provided should have been thrown away. I wouldn’t have minded cleaning one myself for our child, but none were usable. Our little one had to stay in the stroller throughout every meal. As for the food, there was never anything appropriate for a toddler (ours is one year and six months old). Since we came with a small child, we had high expectations regarding the room’s cleanliness. Out of the seven days we stayed, the room was only superficially cleaned on three occasions — and once, they even brought us stained towels. Unfortunately, all the issues mentioned above led us to contact the hotel reception, hoping for a solution, but we were met with indifference from the staff. I also want to mention the strange smell throughout the hotel, especially in our room. The air conditioner worked, but it seemed like it had never been cleaned — whenever we turned it on, it released a weird and unpleasant odor. The room didn’t even have a wardrobe to store our clothes. All we had was a table where we had to lay out our luggage, and a bar with five hangers. In conclusion, our stay was far from enjoyable, and we definitely do not recommend this hotel. We ended up spending the last few days eating at nearby tavernas. Zakynthos itself was absolutely beautiful, and we’d love to return in the future — but definitely not to this hotel.

Never go to the hotel again. Who wants to have unsureness go there. Do not believe positive reviews. Food is good only for homeless. What is good? Only breakfast. But there is no butter all time. Meat ? Pork belly. Very fatty. Minced meat is awful. You get only the cheapest meat. Chicken wings no breast. We have not eaten so bad food for 10 years. How many stars? Two or three. When you eat there are hens around. Fruit - melon a weird citrus. Sweets - see photos. You get drinks by bartender not yourself. You have to go upstairs. Staff is kind but no with smiing. The bartender told me you have to throw the teabag away yourself ! Bar by the beach - you can not get coffee or tea. Beach towels - it is weird to see beach receptionist there. Room - super cleaning. Shower boxes do not have door and water is everywhere. Beach - beatifull sea with few pebbles. You can find your way without them.

Avoid this hotel, food and hygiene around the kitchen is a big NO NO NO, believe when people say it's not good. I didn't took in consideration the bad reviews, therefore we payed for all inclusive and had to eat in other places because the food is SO SO SO BAD.

We just returned from Arion Resort on Thursday. Usually I don't really like to give a negative review, but I couldn't bear not to do it. First of all, I would like to advertise the food, which is perfect, but not for humans, some pigs would grow well with it. The eggs were not done well, If you can't make some hard-boiled eggs, you've already made a mistake. The salads are acceptable, but the cooked food, no chance of being eaten. green mortadella on the edges, some soft sausages made from some pasta, pasta sauces made with leftovers from the morning, disgusting. By the way...many dishes are made with egg powder and have an orange color I saw when they were arranged on the trays (mortadella, cheese, etc.), the lady who arranged them was not wearing gloves... very unhygienic A big minus: THERE IS NO PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN, although it is marked with signs The beach with many stones Doors that do not insulate and you can hear everything that is said in the hallways Let's move on to the good parts 1) Very kind staff, both at the bar and reception, and at the bar on the beach 2) Cleaning is done daily in the rooms 3) cleaning the pool 4) a lot of beer, but I think without alcohol (I didn't expect much) 5) the location is beautiful but it can be improved We were lucky with the nearby taverns, where we ate before, 200m from the resort there is a very well-stocked supermarket All in all, a successful holiday, but next time we will definitely not choose Arion again, For the Arion management, do something with the food, and you will definitely have a plus size

Terrible vacation. The dining room stinks, the food is cold and you have to wait 40 minutes for anything. After that, they brought boiled, cold shageta from somewhere. Staff collected perhaps on the street, a single bar for perhaps 120 people. All in cups made of thin plastic. Toilets in the dining room without a cutting board...that passes for 4 stars!!! We are complaining about the trip and I am ready to sue myself. Vladimir
