Returned in September 25 after being here in June 25 and fell in love with the place! However was hoping to return in June 2026 for three weeks but the hotel is going all inclusive and that’s is so not for us! Plus our favourite operator Jet2 is no longer using this hotel as TUI has the monopoly now by the sounds of things. What was a beautiful quiet, relaxing hotel with returning guests year after year has chosen to go all inclusive so will loose a lot of returning guests! Such a shame. In my opinion a terrible mistake!

4th time and maybe the last time to the Gerakas Belvedere because although we had another great time they are going all-inclusive next year and that's just not for us. I just hope the lovely tavernas outside of the hotel are not affected by this (mad)decision.

We have just spent a week at this hotel on a half board basis and have come away feeling like we had an OK holiday but one that could have been so much better without doing too much. The buffet dinners are ok but so similar night in night out that you get fed up of the same thing. Although it is the end of the season, it was surprising how lacking in any sort of ambience / atmosphere the restaurant / bar area was. It was like a school canteen - everyone ate then immediately left. A separate bar area with sofas and maybe some music might make people hang around a bit longer. Whilst noting that the hotel closes on 13th October, it was disappointing to see the food options diminishing on the pool bar menu as each day went by. I was also a bit miffed to be charged €50 for a late check out having been told by a member of staff that the hotel only currently had c60 guests compared to over 200 during August. Checking out later was therefore hardly going to inconvenience them or any future guests given they also close in 5 days time. Given the time of year (we had 3 days of rain), I think it is a bit poor that the hotel charges you €15 per person to use the indoor pool / spa - you’d think it would be included. On the plus side, the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was ok and the pool was nice when it wasn’t raining. Overall it was ok but could be so much better in my opinion.

I loved this hotel. The setting is beautiful (we booked a junior suite with sea view), the room very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts and evening meals were great. It is in a quiet location so not for people looking for nightlife but if you want a relaxing holiday near a beautiful beach, it's perfect.

Just returned from a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. Had we not stayed here last year we would have been very worried having read the reviews BUT we were not disappointed in the least. The staff remembered us from last year which immediately made us feel very welcome. Our room was not as nice as our previous visit but we did not pay for a garden view room on this occasion. However, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed. Couple of negatives: the curtains did not close over all the window so not completely dark at night; loose light switch which gave me anxiety. No non slip mats available for the bathroom which we felt necessary as the shower screen was not effective at keeping the water in. We were disappointed that George and the cocktail bar had gone as this was our nightcap stop last year. Could do with at least one more coffee machine in the restaurant Positives: we had an issue with the shower head which we reported to reception on our way to breakfast; it was remedied by the time we had finished breakfast.. 10/10 to the maintenance team. Staff very friendly and welcoming Good choice of food at breakfast High standard of daily cleaning Clean bedding daily Toiletries provided (but would take your own if you’re fussy about products) Powerful hairdryer near a mirror .. yay! Quiet location Lovely pool and sun bed area. Pool towels provided. We would be happy to come and stay here again but understand this will be an all inclusive hotel next year; we enjoy the evening walk to the local tavernas and the change of scenery so unless there is a room only option we will most probably pass Thank you for a great relaxing week Da

We stayed here for a week in September. The weather was absolutely glorious, the pool was clean and very nice to relax in. We always were able to have a sun lounger and they are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a great selection to choose from. The public areas of the hotel are very clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean, everything worked perfectly, the shower was good, the bed comfy, the A/C was extremely welcoming and we also had a free safe in the room. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite, the room cleaner’s were very good. I actually cannot fault this hotel. Very well done and I hope that the hotel management will pass on our thanks to their staff for doing such an excellent job.

Just come back from a week’s stay at Gerakas Belvedere Hotel. Nice hotel and staff were great. Public areas of the hotel were very nice, clean and modern. Warning to those not expecting it though.. environmental tax is steep at €10 a day. This was my third visit to Greece this year so was well aware of it. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast buffet was great, ate well every morning. However, would benefit from one more coffee machine and toaster, as there was always a queue for both as there was only one of each available for use. I stayed in room number 303, which was a ground floor room so no sea view, however a nice view from the pool area. Room was comfortable, cleaned daily. Shower head didn’t stay in situ, however after reporting for the second time was fixed quickly. There was an issue with one of the drains in the bathroom - water rising when in the shower (not a toilet roll issue, toilet tissue should not be flushed down the toilet as it can cause problems). Reported to reception and sorted pretty much straight away. Fly screen at the patio door which kept the pesky mosquitos, wasps and hornets out. Air conditioning and WiFi was free to use, the rooms do get very warm so very happy that the ac was free. WiFi was intermittent if your room is further away from the main area of the hotel - maybe WiFi signal boosters would be a good idea. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area of the island but there are several nice tavernas, two supermarkets and three nice beaches within 30 minute walk. Buses into the towns were not as regular as in the high season but still useable at 2€ for each bus. All in all a nice stay in Zakynthos and I would be more than happy to stay at the Belvedere Hotel again, hopefully if I do I’ll get a sea view next time.

Stayed in late August 2025 . Upgraded at checkin to sea view refurbed room at the back, we went on a package tour on the basis that it’s easier than doing yourself. If you are after a hotel where 90% of guests are British and / or want nightlife . Don’t book here . Breakfasts and evening meals were extensive and catered for the mix of Romanians, Dutch, Italians, British people there. Didn’t have a bad meal. Bar costs reasonable at 5 for a beer and 2 for a large bottle water . Had spa treatments with use of Happy hour discounts was much less than anywhere in Western Europe. I suppose it could be possible to have a bad stay here ; but for a quiet beach holiday with a few trips out and not reliant on a tour operator it was great .

The hotel room was very small (but nice), however, the bathroom was always very dirty. What bothered us the most was the smell coming from the shower and its overall cleanliness. We reported the issue to the reception on the first day, but unfortunately, nothing was done about it. Overall, the bathroom was very dirty and unkempt, which was quite disappointing.
