Where to stay in Vasilikos

Had a lovely stay here. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties due lots of steps

We spent 5 days here... it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool... drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort... Best point: it is 30 minutes walk to St. Nicholas and Banana Beach (amazing beaches)! it is close to lovely restaurants if you fancy something different. Nice quiet place for relax, nice views, nice quiet smaller Beach, but better than overcrowded, excellent for children, futher from Pallazo do Zante, hotel Room service average, but we are ok with that, one thing would be fain to have is animation program during the days and especially in there evenings(missed greek evenings, music etc experienced in Crete or Cyprus) :) on the other hand..thank you...

A wonderful location! Everything was perfect: the friendliness of the staff, the location of the hotel in a quiet area with a gorgeous garden, the excellent pool, cleanliness, the air-conditioned rooms, the varied breakfast and dinner. The Porto Azzuro beach with fine sand is nearby. We had a beautiful and relaxing holiday!

First, we've been greeted by a very kind receptionist lady, that was beyond polite to assist us with any kind of questions regarding the hotel/area/beaches & everything + recommendations and the overall staff is very kind & polite. Second the rooms might not be big or anything fancy, but they're clean & the AC is absolutely the best (it doesn't turn the room into a refrigerator and makes it too cold...

If you wish to visit Zakynthos I highly recommend to stay at this hotel. It is in a very quiet area,our room had balcony with view to the sea,the hotel has an outdoor pool and the water is very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and the food is very good. The staff here is so friendly and they help you with everything you need. We sure will return here

My Wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Fantastic staff made everything perfect. Only the weather let us down, having thunderstorms for a few days. There are a couple of tavernas a minutes walk away and a couple more on the beach which is only around 200m away. Excellent hotel in quiet, peaceful surroundings. I really enjoyed my stay here despite the fairly dreadful weather,( thunderstorms and rain almost all week). Visited for 2 weeks in September and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel was everything we hoped for. So much so that the day after we got back home we booked again for next year. Thanks to every member of staff for giving us a holiday to remember.

Been an amazingly relaxing break. Beautiful location, great breakfast and the place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Obliging and friendly staff and the pizza is worth trying. A very priceworthy hotel located in a rather quiet area of Zakynthos. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but I would recommend renting a car if staying here to be able to fully enjoy the area and the island.

Very nice place for families and couples. It is closed to Porto Roma beach (less than 10 minutes on foot) and there is also a supermarket just outside the hotel and this is a good point because you have the chance to cook in your room. The last but not the least, it is quite cheap! :)

We have just had the most relaxing , peaceful holiday at Plaka Beach . The hotel is right on the beach and a lovely sea breeze keeps you cool , which i can imagine will be very welcoming during the hotter months. Very nice family acommodation in quiet location of Vasilikos with very nice staff and good meals. There are some taverns and markets around. Beach is 200 meters from the hotel with sunbeds which are free for guests. I recommend rentig of car for people who would like to explore Zakynthos.

we stayed at the hotel in august. I want to mention that our holidays there were very nice, the room was cleaned every day, the food was decent, and I want to highlight the smile of the employees! There si a good servise and really nice woman. The swimming pool is what you need when its hot weather. The rooms are clean, bathroom is little bit small but It is OK. Food is delicious. The resort is near the beach. On the beach you have free boats.

We had a lovely stay at The Bay. Hotel, our room, the friendly staff and the other facilities were more than I had hoped for. Excellent place to stay for a quiet trip away. Lovely local restaurants which were really good by any standard and easily walkable. The communal parts of the hotel were great. Only issue is the room. We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at diamond suites. We stayed in family apartment with two bedrooms and a day bed in the communal bit. We also had our own private pool which was fantastic for the kids aged 5 & 7. We also were able to go to the main bit of the hotel and swim and lounge by communal pool. It was a great vacation for us. The location and size of the apartment is amazing. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. The bathrooms definitely need major renovation.
