The restaurant features a luxurious Baroque style, with dazzling crystal chandeliers, exquisite murals, and a resplendent gilded dome. Every detail reflects the opulence of the 19th century. Especially, the new york café is the most beautiful café all over the world. In room facilities are kind of old. Strongly recommended.

The Antantara Hotel is Gorgeous!!The lobby is beautiful and a lovely place to relax. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast delicious and NY Cafe delish especially the pistachio raspberry tart. We had reservations at the other restaurant in the hotel and had some kind if mix up with our orders…1 1/2 hours to get our food. Mark stepped in for our waiter and was so kind and friendly it made the wait much easier ( as did comping our drinks!).

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. Perfect location in Budapest, huge rooms and bathrooms (it’s worth the upgrade for the city room with balcony), and excellent cafe / restaurant options. The lobby and spa are stunning. I loved that this hotel was walkable to all the best neighborhoods / nightlife in Pest. It’s also ideal for families given all the amenities and food options nearby. It’s a nice perk to be able to skip the lines at NY Cafe for drinks. We stayed 5 nights and wish we booked for longer.

We wanted to try the café but the line was very long so my friend and I decided to sit in the bar. We were lucky to catch the bar opening ceremony and were served a yummy complimentary cocktail. We initially planned to have some tea which they graciously served us in the bar (jasmine pearls - so good!) and were also given some honey nuts. Felt really fancy indeed! Our server was lovely, wish I remembered to ask for her name! Thank you, we'll be back.

The Anantara is exceedingly elegant, but not pompous. Our room was spacious and the king mattress was memory foam and very comfortable. The staff was more than helpful and gracious, tending to every need. Our server at dinner the first night, Teodora, was a perfect example. The food in the restaurant was also outstanding, particularly the breakfast. They served everything you could possibly want. The live music at dinner was fun and entertaining too. As for the location, the Anantara was convenient to everything you could want to see or visit. It would only have been better situated if it was on the Danube, but that would be true of any accommodation. I highly recommend this establishment, particularly for its people.

I had a wonderful stay at the Antara Hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities made the whole experience truly enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service. Márk, one of the waiters, was especially kind, professional, and attentive. He always greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to him and the rest of the staff, our stay felt very welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both comfort and outstanding hospitality.

We were quite disappointed with certain aspects of our stay. The towels had stains, there was hair in the tub, and the housekeeping room—located right next to ours—was left open most of the time, which affected the overall experience. For the price paid, we expected better.
In addition, the concierge offered little in terms of sightseeing suggestions beyond a €300 tour, which wasn’t very helpful.
That said, one of the highlights of our Budapest trip was the hotel’s Service Excellence Manager, Tamas, who gave us a comprehensive tour of the property. His warmth and hospitality stood out and truly elevated our stay.

Burgers were ok but service was worse than terrible they got our order wrong. The girls behind the counter were very rude to us and then started screaming at the chef, they were more interested in flirting with a drunken stag party than serving the tables.

I have a pet peeve when burger restaurants grill the cheese from a cheese-burger on the flat top and throw that on the burger. When I order a cheese-burger I want the cheese melted on top of the patty like 99% of places on earth. Ok it might be your idea of being modern, but ask beforehand because then the cheese gets super greasy and crispy and caramelized on some points and is totally raw in the centre. If they cooked the burger properly that would have helped but the patty was overcooked and dry, the bun was alright and the fries were ok. Not coming back... plenty of competition in town.

We had four burgers and they were all OK and reasonably well cooked. The chairs and table were horribly unstable and should have been replaced years ago. A bit shabby interior. Service was OK although not super attentive.

Avoid this place. Everything was burned - Hamburger meat and chicken wings completely. They serve only hamburgers and wings so it is very rediculous they dont know how to make it right.
