The hotel is quite old, which is noticeable throughout, but it is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for luxury, there are more expensive options available. They don't have their own restaurant, but you can arrange a breakfast that is truly hearty and filling. The rooms are great—it's rare to find a hotel that heats so well in the middle of winter. Considering all aspects, it’s a really great stay. They are also pet-friendly and even offered to clean our room on the second day.
Parking and Transport: The hotel doesn't have its own parking. On-street parking is limited to 3 hours on weekdays. If you arrive by car for a longer stay, I recommend parking in the large underground garage about 1.4 km away (approx. €1/h, card payments accepted). From there, you can take a taxi or a tram (3 stops) to the hotel. We found it best to buy a 72-hour public transport pass, which covers all trams, buses, and the Metro. The system is incredibly well-organized. The tram stop is only 20-30 meters from the hotel, and the bus stop is about 200 meters away on the Danube side. The location is excellent—you can reach the city center on foot in about 10-15 minutes by crossing the bridge.

If you like staying active and keeping up with your training while traveling—like I do—I really recommend this hotel. For only 100 euros per room for four people, you get a free outdoor 50m pool (yes, even in winter, the water is around 24°C), plus a free sauna and breakfast!

You can also go for a beautiful morning run on the nearby island that has a running track and lots of locals out jogging. The loop is about 5 km. And the Hungarian Parliament is only 2 km away, so you can even walk there.

Breakfast is simple but tasty. The rooms are basic, but clean and warm. At first there was a slight bleach smell, but it faded quickly.

The only downside is the parking—there’s no hotel parking, and street parking can be pricey.

Overall, I really loved this place!

This is not a hotel, it's a dormitory at best. Rooms are small without a table, you just have space for a bed.
It's noisy, you can hear the other room very clearly, last night a man snores, I could hear him.... Rooms like that should be 20 - 30 € maximum per night. Nevertheless the staff members are nice.

I went there three times because it was very close to my dental clinique. It is not super. The rooms are VERY small and there is quite a lot of noise from the Tramway just outside.
The staff is VERY kind.
As a vegan still and at the time, I couldn't have much to eat at breakfast.
I stayed there because it was very close to my dental clinique - that was the only reason. If you have more courage than me, I would recommend Hilton Budapest.

Good 3-star. It does what it says on the tin. The tram stops right outside. Staff friendly and polite. The only issue we had was noise from the swimming pool, which starts at 6 am. So, this is not a good hotel if you plan to sleep till late. It's perfect if you want to get up early and swim though. There was some kind of security woman that was annoyed at us because we sat outside to watch the teams train in the evening. There is no indication that this is not allowed and the door from the hotel to the pool is also unlocked. They need to sort this out bcz their staff getting angry at guests is out of order.

If you are visiting Budapest, then this hotel is the best choice. Very convenient location (parking in front of the hotel), clean rooms, warm water in the pool makes the trip enjoyable even in cold weather. Delicious breakfast and most importantly, very attentive, warm and friendly team.

The group paid in advance and we booked 20 rooms for two days. On the end we informed them that we will be needing only 18 rooms, due to some illness. We sent them mail, but no answer. On the end we need only 17 rooms, and get only 17 keys. I asked the reception about the rooms and he didn't know anything. hey don't answer on a mail, I tried politely, they have send me policy of terms, but then again we didn't get the 20 keys. It's ok to work in tourism when everything is ok, but for big groups is hard to organise and something like that unprofessionalism has happened only in this hotel in 20 years of my work in tourism.

I spent 5 days at the beginning of July. I rented an apartment (224) for 3 adults and 2 children, but I think it could accommodate a larger group. The hotel has an old architecture, but the rooms are spacious, modern furniture and generally clean. The breakfast, although not very varied, was suitable, with a good selection of fresh food. The hotel has 2 swimming pools (Olympic pool) in which I could swim daily. Very kind staff. The hotel is close to bus 9, you can reach most attractions very quickly and you don't need a rental car. There are also less pleasant parts: the noise of the tram that passes by the hotel, but in the evening/night they are quite rare, so it is not really a problem. I appreciated that the air conditioning was on when I arrived and the refrigerator was full of cold water. I got the best price directly from their website. In conclusion, when we return to Budapest, we will stay here again

Great hotel to visit Budapest especially for swimmers. The swimming pool is amazing. There is a Turkish bath and another spa around the corner. Good tram connections with the city and Gellert baths. I love it here and I will definitely come back. Breakfast was also good. Regular guests are swimming and water polo teams from different countries. I did not mind the sound of the tram because I lived in a big city too and I actually like the sound.

The room had a strong smell due to humidity, likely because it was underground. When we asked the reception for a room change, they informed us that there was nothing they could do and advised us to keep the windows open. However, this did little to solve the issue in a few hours. Additionally, the hotel is located right next to a tram line, and the noise from the passing trams could be heard even with the windows closed, making it hard to relax.

On the good side, it’s close to the city center.
