Reviews
I highly recommend staying here!
The minimal light pollution makes it an excellent spot for catching the Northern Lights when conditions align. It's unfortunate that our late arrival limited our time here, as I would have loved to fully immerse myself in the experience.

We couldn't locate shower towels in the room but later found small towels in the bathroom, so we made use of them. We weren't sure if this was acceptable, but it was too late to disturb the owners.
One downside was the poor soundproofing; you could hear every step in the house.
I booked 1 night and had such an amazing time so I extended the stay!!
Berglind and Finnbogi joined us for their deliciously homemade breakfast and shared stories of their history and the area. So friendly and charming!!!
The shared bathroom on the first floor was clean with all of the products (shampoo/soap/etc.) and always had warm water with good pressure. There was so much space for relaxing and even to have a group dinner in the kitchen. Plus a private library of very interesting books to read!
It really was a nice, quiet, and comfortable stay.
