The Leela Hotel in Mumbai

Incompetent hotel, that made a huge mistake by checking us in to a previously cancelled booking instead of our valid prepaid booking on arrival.
We were Not advised of any issue or mistakes during our stay or upon on checkout.
The hotel then took 30,000INR from our credit card that was left on file almost 2 months after our stay, without our permission, which they are refusing to refund, stating that we are responsible to pay for THEIR checkin error.
We have sent all proofs such as booking confirmations and credit card statements proving that we had prepaid bookings, but the hotel management continue to blame us, and lie to us.
They won’t even give us a simple apology for their errors and put this right.

If you feel like getting ripped off, book this hotel, otherwise stay away.

If I could rate this hotel and the way we have been dealt with at -100 I would.

Leela you should feel ashamed at how you have treated fully paying guests who used to be loyal to your brand.
