Been staying at Masa Inn for well over 17 years, except for the Covid years, and have thoroughly enjoyed my stays of over a month each time. Not the Ritz for sure, however the staff make up for that.

The staff were so accommodating and supportive. We arrived past midnight and they gave us a room before check in time. However, the beds and pillows were green with mold. So we transferred to another room and it was just so dirty. The bathroom sink dripped every time the faucet was on. The place needs a proper cleaning and renovation. Being in the rooms triggered my asthma symptoms. I had to cancel my 6 nights stay. The garden is okay. The pools are big. I can only thank the staff for being so understanding when we had to cancel our booking.

The rooms are clean, breakfast is provided, and there are two large swimming pools, making it ideal for business trips and leisure travel. It's also very close to the business district and the beach.

I’ve just stayed at the Masa Inn for the first time with my family. What struck me is the amount of returning couples and families who return yearly, some even treating this as a second home for months at a time. I was told by another guest that this is a family run business started by the grandparents. The rooms are basic and need some modernising but satisfactory if all you intend to do is lounge around one of two pools, go out for the day and return to your room. The air conditioning was great and the beds comfortable. Apart from the body soap dispenser in the wall of the combined bath/shower, they don’t supply the usual bar of soap or the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Face washers/flannels are not supplied and you need to bring your own hair dryer. You receive two complimentary bottles of water in your room on arrival but from then on you need to organise your own. Breakfast is included and off a menu where you can choose a dish out of each section e.g fruit bowl, cereal, eggs and toast, pancakes and fruit juices. The breakfast staff take your order at your table. The grounds are immaculate and a really nice touch are the new local white rabbits within the hotel, as well as some local cats. All are friendly and enjoy a pat. The staff treat you as family and the barman - Ari, is very friendly and great to have a chat too. I found the drinks at the bar cheaper than other bars, supermarkets/marts and eateries around Kuta. A special thank you to Yasri at reservations who really looked after our booking needs. Overall, it was a nice stay for 3 star hotel.

Great value for money at this location
The team are excellent at this calm hotel. Food good. External condition excellent. Location good. But bathrooms are very tired. Rooms need refitting. This could be an amazing place with a good make over of the internal parts of the rooms. But for the money it is great value. Pools are well maintained.

Been staying at this hotel since 2018, great location, good rooms, lovely staff, restaurant and bar prices are great. An older hotel close to bars and restaurant from the front door. An older clientele, so pools are not busy and hotel is quite at night for a good sleep The included breakfast is plan but very nice Nothing is to much trouble for the staff See you again in 12 months time.

The water is not very clean. After going to the beach, the filter element turned yellow when I rinsed it.
There is no hair dryer and the towels still smell a bit.
Breakfast options are limited, you can only order one cereal, one egg and toast and one drink or fruit. Breakfast at other restaurants is usually a cereal toast buffet.
It's not too far from the beach. Taking a taxi will be more expensive. There's a one-way street outside and the car has to go around a long way to get there.

Good place for quick bites. They also have couple of Veg options. so you can try there. Rest ambience being in beach side is good enough to attrack.

Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Menus are "standardized", as they follow National menus (everything is Halal, as I understand it).
Location is good, many other interesting places to visit afterwards if you are not done with your day.
Good view by the windows.
This restaurant is findable using online transportation app.

Service a bit slow. Nice pizza but drinks could be better. Do not recomend to order coffee nor the milkshake, coke is fine though...lol

Local warung, wide range of choice. All was fresh, very delicious and very spicy:-) place itself is not too much cozy, but if the food is excellent, you can forget. Recommended!
