Bad luck struck! It was pouring rain in Bali, and the road to the hotel was flooded. On the second day, there was still no hot water. But I still give it a good review because the hotel made every effort to fix things. The difficulties encountered were beyond their control. The hotel implemented an emergency plan to restore the hot water and also compensated guests with a lavish complimentary dinner. A special shout-out to Melly, the front desk staff who speaks Chinese. We connected on WeChat, and she constantly communicated with me. Even after I had already paid, she helped me get a cash refund and personally delivered it to my room. Thank you again, Melly! 🌹

My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 10 days, and honestly, it turned into one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming. The hotel was spotless, but what truly made the difference was the staff — every single person went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and enjoying our time. You could feel that they genuinely cared.
We did have an incident with the guest next door, and this is where the team truly showed their character. Lorenzo and his team handled the situation with so much professionalism, calmness, and compassion. They put our safety and wellbeing first, even when it meant putting aside any financial benefit from corporate clients. That level of integrity is rare, and it meant a lot to us.
This hotel is perfect for families. You feel safe, looked after, and respected. Holiday Inn will absolutely be my first choice when I return to Bali — there’s no question about it. I wish I could give them more than five stars, because the service, the rooms, and the entire management team deserve so much more.
I truly hope we’ll be back sooner rather than later.

Our family has just returned from a wonderful holiday at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. With so many accommodation options in Bali, finding a place that delivers a truly memorable family experience can be challenging — but this resort absolutely does.

From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the thoughtful inclusions that many other resorts charge extra for. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering something for everyone each morning. The beachfront location made it easy to enjoy the ocean at any time, and the variety of on-site dining options meant we were never short of great meals. Families are particularly well catered for, with a safe shallow swimming pool, a fantastic kids’ club, and convenient airport transfers that made travel stress-free.

What truly sets this resort apart, however, is its people. The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the staff made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you to Pak Ari (Room Cleaner), Pak Jay (Breakfast Manager), and Pak Andre (Manager) for going above and beyond to make our holiday so memorable.

Hotels can offer beautiful facilities, but it is the quality of the staff that defines the experience — and the team here is among the most friendly and professional we have encountered in our travels around the world.

The room was great, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was also rich and fresh. I highly recommend it if you don't mind not having a private beach. Oh, and they offer a free airport shuttle too!

The room was spacious with two beds, which was perfect for our family of three. It's also conveniently located close to Kuta Beach. The hotel breakfast was decent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. We'd definitely stay here again.

This is an IHG brand hotel, very close to the airport. It's about a 10-minute walk from the plane to the hotel, which is acceptable for an overnight stay. The hotel is a bit old and needs to improve its facility maintenance.

The hotel's facilities are quite ordinary. The two-bedroom suite we booked had rather small bathrooms; one had a shower and the other a bathtub. For a family like ours, this wasn't very practical; showers are generally more convenient. However, the hotel's service was truly excellent. The staff were all very friendly towards guests, and I'd especially like to thank Ms. Melly at the front desk. She's fluent in Chinese, and her service was warm and attentive. She patiently answered all my questions, helped me arrange airport transfer, and even packed breakfast for us, saving me a lot of trouble with the language barrier. Having such wonderful Chinese-speaking service was both unexpected and a pleasant surprise, far better than the previous hotel in Ubud, which Trip.com claimed had Chinese service but actually offered none.

Our stay in Bali was absolutely fantastic, and a special shout-out goes to the hotel staff, Melly! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly communicative, proactively checking in on our needs, and enthusiastically offering all sorts of helpful recommendations. Even when she had to go to work later, she made sure to let us know in advance and was always ready to assist, which made us feel incredibly secure and warm. Thanks to her thoughtful service, our trip was much smoother and more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here and definitely ask for Melly's help!

We spent a week in this hotel. The room is cozy and the food is delicious, especially the restaurant Envy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 8 nights and we will definitely be back, could not fault anything, the staff couldn't do enough and nothing was too much for them. The breakfast was amazing buffet style to serve all nationalities and the grounds, just perfect for a vacation overlooking the beach, ideal location, so very welcoming, thankyou for all your kindness xx
