Absolute Jungle paradise! The most beautiful hotel
What we loved:
The Vibes: Beautiful hotel, which had a very relaxed atmosphere, and gorgeous jungle styling.
Amenities: Loved the transfers included down to Ubud Centre + the yoga was fantastic.
The Rooms: Lovely apartment-style rooms with great outdoor spaces and a super cute outdoor bath. We opted for the room with a swimming pool which felt very secluded and romantic. The staff turned down the bed of an evening so that you had the curtains draped around the four poster bed. Would make a lovely honeymoon hotel!!
The Views: Breathtaking scenery, the views from the pool into the jungle are incredible.
The Food: Breakfast was absolutely delicious.
The Spa: 10/10 - Incredible service, beautiful setting, incredible massage. It's open air into the jungle and waterfall and honestly breathtaking!
Things to note:
If i was being really critical, I feel the main swimming pool could have done with a slight update. The sunbed cushions were a little stained + the wood had lost it's vibrant freshness.
Overall, an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly responsive and kind, though the condition of the sun loungers by the pool was a bit disappointing, with a lot of mold/greenery. The towels in the room were dirty :< (other guests also noticed this). However, for the price, we got a rather spacious room with a private jacuzzi. Breakfasts were varied and hearty (hot drink, fresh juice, choice of a first dish (fruits, fruit salad, porridge, coconut flakes), and a second dish (any classic full meal) – we were absolutely stuffed. I want to emphasize once again the responsiveness and friendliness of the staff, thank you.

Overall, the hotel is good. The hospitality, service, and most importantly, the super green grounds with a living jungle section – that's the view from the panoramic window in the room. Breakfasts are good, but the selection is limited, so I can't call them excellent. It's 3 km to the center of Ubud, so walking isn't an option, only taxis. Prices for this area are above average. There's a spa, and the massage is good (compared to spas in central Ubud, the prices are x3). Overall, I liked the hotel.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a well-maintained private garden for our room, complete with a jacuzzi. The room itself was magnificent, very spacious and comfortable, though it could use a bit more light. We loved the lovely music and the soothing sounds of water. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a bit far from the city center, about a 40-minute walk without sidewalks, so we always had to take a taxi.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. The room was gorgeous and while not directly in Ubud Centre it was only a 10 minute bike ride away. Staff was able to accommodate guest needs and assisted me to change rooms at midnight after a gecko was in the bedroom. However if I have to nitpick, the bedding and towels need to be upgraded as they are discolored and very old, did not feel comfortable using them. Otherwise amazing boutique hotel!

The staff at Sankara were absolutely friendly and helpful. We were looking for dining places on Valentine's Day and one of the staff suggested Donna. We loved the resto so much! Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was incredible and the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always helpful. They really made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and conveniently located. Everything was clean and well organized, and the atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant.
The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and very reasonable prices for the quality offered. A special mention goes to the Valentine’s Day event, which was truly special: live music, a great atmosphere, and outstanding food. It made our celebration unforgettable.

It was really great. Since it's located in the mountainous area of Ubud, some taxi drivers might find it a bit hard to locate, but that also means it's very quiet and has a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious. There's also a gym and a pool, and the staff were very friendly.

Good hotel with responsive and friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the infinity pool is excellent. There's also a spa complex on-site. Breakfasts are decent with lovely presentation. We had a great time and didn't want to leave 🫶🏻
