Excellent hotel.
Located right in the middle of rice fields. The city center is a 15-minute walk away. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast is served in the room; you choose the dishes from a menu in advance.
It is important to note that taxis cannot reach the hotel directly. The staff pick you up from the parking area on motorbikes and also transport your luggage. You need to call or message them via WhatsApp.

We stayed 3 nights at Solo Villas, a fab retreat from the busyness of Ubud. Staff were exceptionally helpful, rooms clean and had everything we needed. Garden and pool beautiful.

There is no access by car to the villa, you get dropped off at a nearby carpark and the staff will come and collect you by scooter/bike. They will take you on one bike and your luggage on another.
The villa is well worth this inconvenience. Any time we wanted to go out of the villa, we just needed to ask and they would drop us to the main part of Ubud.
The staff are so lovely and attentive.

Sorry, I have no good impression of this hotel. The manager's attitude was very poor. He rushed through explaining the check-in rules, and after I said yes, there were rules, I went back to rest. His response was relatively prompt, but we weren't in a hurry anyway. The housekeeping was a major disappointment. They just laid out the sheets and didn't do anything else. The toothbrush was changed once and then never again. The towels were changed on the first day and then never changed or tidied up. I have no idea what the daily cleaning even did; I developed a severe rash on my butt, and it hasn't healed even after I returned home! The only redeeming feature was the breakfast, which was just okay. Eating in Ubud is convenient and cheap, so it's not a big deal… The rice paddies were overhyped; they were supposed to be all-natural, but not beautiful, haha.

I had a comfortable stay and then moved on to another area.
I highly recommend this for a honeymoon.

Solo Villas has a great location - a short walk (or taxi bike) up a small road from the water palace, it's close to lots of restaurants and shops in Ubud, but I a quiet peaceful spot. Staff were very friendly, and could not have done more. Always available on WhatsApp. We had two connecting queen rooms - great for travelling as a family. They served out breakfast on the balcony outside the room each morning. Recommended for family travel in Ubud.

I stayed at Solo Villas together with my two daughters and we really enjoyed it. Breakfasts were great with lots of options to choose from, staff was extremely responsive and helpful. We can only recommend

Near Ubud Palace, near the room is a rice field, it's a homestay type, the staff is very nice, English is good, there is a small swimming pool in the store, there are lounge chairs. You can't take a taxi directly to the store, the staff will take you to the nearby Starbucks Ubud by motorcycle (Google map can be used for this location, contact the staff to pick you up before going, Ctrip network phone can be called, when we first went there, we didn't know that we needed a motorcycle to pick you up, the grab driver helped to contact). The slope for driving a motorcycle is a bit steep, it's a bit demanding hahaha, the staff will come at your call when you need to pick you up, and they can put the suitcase in front of the motorcycle. The breakfast is very good, a classic Western breakfast in the countryside, time is slow, I think it's more comfortable than the Ritz-Carlton buffet breakfast the day before.

You have to take your shoes off at the entrance to the room, so you can walk around barefoot, which was nice.
If you request it, they will take you to the center of Ubud by motorbike. It's convenient to be able to contact them via WhatsApp.
They also do laundry for 300 yen per kilogram, so it's cheap and I've asked them to do it many times.

Solo was a delight. Calm and serene setting on a scooter only road. The 3 weeks we’ve been here have been a blessing. Great staff, accommodations and food. Easy access/ walkable to the market and loads of restaurants. Easy scooter pick ups to further location. Solo Villas has spoiled us for any other location in Bali. Can’t wait to come back.

All great evenings start with a scooter ride across the rice paddys. Fantastic food with impeccable service. Worth every penny as it's a great night.

Just finishing our stay at the Villa attached to the restaurant. We are here twice in the evening and twice during the day. Food quality, staff attentiveness is frankly brilliant. You do pay a little more but you do get what you pay for. Try the BBQ chicken which is done in a sous vide. I've never tasted chicken like it. Excellent, we will return for sure.

The Dicarik is a wonderful little gem in the midst of Ubud's rice fields. We were looking for authentic Balinese food and this is the place for it!
The juices are incredible - by far the best juices I've had in Bali so far. The food feels very clean and healthy while being very delicious and full of flavor. Don't leave without having tried the fried banana for desert.

Had a wonderful time here tonight, favorites we're the chicken soup with meatballs, herbal tea and chicken satay tiliki. Awesome experience!

Lovely ambiance, peaceful in the middle of the rice fields. Short walk, maybe 25 minutes from Central Ubud. Very nice staff, good juice, but subpar coffee.

There is another restaurant of a similar name we were intending to go to. Mistook this restaurant for the prior but was not disappointed. Homestyle cooking in an unhurried fashion. Nothing splash. Only beer. Sunset view unparalleled.

First day in Ubud exploring the area and this place isn't far from our hotel up the track to the rice fields. We sat on one of the tree house areas with a stunning view around. Highly recommend for a chill out coffee break.
