This beautiful hotel has it all,charming rooms,amazing views,swimming pool and restaurant.
Recently renovated it offers traditional Balinese accommodation which is family owned and operated.
We were pleasantly surprised,the staff are warm and friendly,we enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning right in front of our room.
Its handy to everything,Bintang Supermarket and Sadona Spa are just across the road with plenty of restaurants all within walking distance.
The Elephant Restaurant which is within the hotel grounds offers a great selection of dishes to choose from.
The views and beautiful gardens make this hotel a real gem.
I can highly recommend Taman Indrakila Hotel for travelers looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a traditional Balinese setting.

Hotel room is quite bad..
After showering, water stagnates in the bathroom..
You can hear talking or sleeping sounds from the next room because the wall is not made of cement..
The entrance door to the room is very small and difficult to open or close..
There is no hot shower..bathing at night is cold..
You have to walk into the hotel room quite far and on a slope..

The atmosphere of the hotel is really great, like in a flower garden with a slope, the night feels fresh.
There is a car parking space, more comfortable and convenient in the Ubud area..
The place to park luggage and clothes is quite spacious, the room size is quite comfortable..

This is my second time at this hotel. I had a pretty good impression of it a year ago. It was my first time in Ubud, and I didn't notice anything other than Ubud's beauty. The grounds of this hotel are stunning, with beautiful jungles, a volcano sometimes visible, and a turtle living on the grounds. It's not a long walk to the center. But the room is terrible. The floor is dirty, they only clean it superficially, but if you peek behind the closet, it's really dirty. Just a layer of dirt. The bed is fine, BUT the duvet doesn't have a duvet cover. How can that even be? I mean, I'll sleep under the same duvet as everyone else who's been here before me. At reception, they said there are no duvet covers. The pillow is hard and uncomfortable. The canopy is dirty, stained, and the most interesting thing is that there are spiders in the corners of the canopy. There were a lot of them, really. It seems they've been living there for a long time. I asked reception to remove the spiders, and a staff member came with a broom and a bag. He brushed the spiders off. The water pressure and hot water were good, but the shower head was taped up, and water was spraying everywhere. There was no shower curtain. It was packed in a drawer. We left it in the bathroom with the hint that they'd hang it up, but no one ever did. There was a safe, but it didn't work. They promised to fix it, but they didn't. The only good things were the view and the turtle. The rest weren't worth the money.

The hotel is like hidden in the rainforest. It is a small room with its own door. There is a leisure platform at the door, where you can overlook the volcano in the distance in the morning. I really like the tropical green plants and ferns here. It is really great. The only drawback is that the hygiene and facilities are not very good, but the price is really very favorable. None: It is recommended to bring your own toiletries, hair dryer, slippers, and towels.

Ambiance, food taste, quantity, service, location... Nothing exceptional. Only exceptional were the prices which were high by Balinese standard.

Horrible place, less than average food. Pay attention to your menu, we order our meal and drinks using one and we’re tried to be charged by the other one where prices are 30% more! We pointed at that and were treated with disgrace. Avoid it!

The view and atmosphere of the restaurant are superb with live music and dancing. The food was delicious- we had the tapas, squid salad, Sumatran beef curry and chargrilled beef and lots of cocktails! We absolutely loved the whole experience, thank you Indus.

So unassuming from the street.
The entrance was like a gallery with stairs that took you down to the open restaurant behind.
The cocktails and food were great and were topped off with a live band and salsa dancing and absolutely sensational views.
