This hotel in Ubud offers a great balance of being centrally located yet peaceful. You step out right into a bustling area, and there's a nice spot directly opposite. But once you're inside, it's incredibly quiet. The hotel pool is also quite photogenic. Service is excellent too; one evening, I was about 500 meters from the hotel and called them for a pickup, and they sent a car right away. They mentioned they'd add it to my bill, but surprisingly, it wasn't there when I checked out, so I have to give them a big thumbs-up for that! I also tried the hotel's Italian restaurant; it was good, just a bit pricey.

when i checked in, they upgraded my room to terrace room, but I found a dead frog on the bathroom curtain, and it smelles very bad due to it has been dead for a very long time, fortunately they gave me a new room. but in the new room, the next day I had a hot water issue in my room at midnight time, and i had to wait for around an hour for it to got back working again.

I recommend this hotel for someone who likes lots of bugs while they resting, becauss there are lots of bugs (spiders, frogs, big ants, bees, etc).
Their housekeeping service is quiet quick, and the breakfast menu is also very healthy.

Very natural and centric location, it doesnt take too long to reach ubud central besides traffic, close to monkey forest and so much more. Stuff, stuff, stuff the thing we truly appreciate is how caring is the stuff, just simply lovely, we also took the tour and cooking class, the cooking class is a must with Chef Dewa! Patiently teaching and also simply delicious taste with simple ingredients

The breakfast is excellent. It's healthy with delicate flavors, fresh vegetables, and a variety of handmade puddings and yogurts. Enjoying breakfast in the morning's tranquility, surrounded by sun and greenery, is truly wonderful.

The free shuttle bus to Ubud is also convenient, though traffic can be an issue.

There's a Circle K convenience store nearby, which is handy.

Small details makes it hard for me to come back. Eg missing bottle opener in room to open water bottles. Not enough hot water for both bath and shower. Charging plug not working on left hand side of the bed.

Meals are interesting but restaurant is very neglecked. At the front of the restaurant some small animals are living. It's bad image for the restaurant :(

The first time I came here, their legendary ribs do live up to their name. I can easily pull the ribs out and enjoy the most tender pork I've ever eaten. Not anymore. Last time I came here that was not the case. The meat was a little bit tougher. But the infamous martini? That one still punches me in the face.

Went here on a friends recommendation and it didn't disappoint! Ribs are great and worth the visit!
Only thing that could be improved is the atmosphere with a little music.

Spare ribs and bratwurst were as nice as far I remember but their beef steak consisted of 50% fat, their mashed potatoes had many huge chunks of garlic, garlic bread was covered with MANY big pieces of chopped garlic. Prices were marked up like crazy. IDR 600K for two people who didn't even drink beers, we just drank water and coke!

It lives up to its reputation as one of the best eateries in Ubud. If you fancy pork that is....It's not fancy elegant but it's lively and often crowded. It's good but not like wow it's 9 out of 10. More like a 7 or maximum 8 only. Not cheap in Ubud standard and portion isn't big. Good thing though one portion of ribs is good for 2 persons. It's opposite Neka museum which is quite out of the way.
