Grand Cemara Hotel Jakarta is a budget-to-mid-range hotel in central Jakarta with a very convenient location near Monas, Gambir Station, shopping areas, and restaurants. Inconsistent cleanliness and maintenance — some rooms feel old or neglected.

Good location and nice hotel. Need some maintenance and better housekeeping. Rooms were not cleaned daily.

There were mosquitoes in the room, and my daughter was bitten throughout the night.
The bathroom is also quite unsafe as the bathtub has no rubber mat and is slippery.

Everything is perfect, the room was spacious. Way too large for both of us, smart tv will be better. We’re expecting a bath-up but weren’t lucky. The bathup room was sold out. But anyway loved the place. My husband loved this place and we’re definitely coming back for little staycation.

Nice hangout place to have some pork and beer with friends. The service is quite fast. Maybe not a perfect place to bring kids cos smoking is allowed in all area, but they do provide baby chair. The Pork Knuckle is worth the wait and very recommended.

Restos like this is not usual in Jakarta. You will be delighted with pork, sausage, bacon, milkshake, cold beer, and many western favorites at an affordable price. Place is average though, don't expect a well-lit air conditioned place. But even though, it's still chill and cozy. I'll definitely go back here.

German cuisine in relax atmosphere. Sausages, crispy pork knuckle, steaks and beers. Good place for informal lunch or dine with friends or family. Reasonable price and popular place for both local and visitors.

The giant pork knuckle was worth the wait. I needed to make a reservation of 2 hours beforehand. The skin was very crispy and the meat was very juicy and tender. The sauerkraut was not as sour as the authentic one but I loved it til the last spoon.

Ambience of the place was good, and the food was tasty. However, apparently the pizza we chose only come in size small, unlike the other pizza selections. The waiter failed to inform this to us, and so our expectations wasn't fulfilled. The place is also quite pricey. Just remember to have a credit card ready in case it turned out your bill exceeds the cash you have in hand.

If you wanna order the pizza here, just remember, unlike other pizzas, the crostafarcita only comes in one size: small.
