Hotel Diana in Canazei

Very friendly and cosy hotel. The Diana is within easy walking distance to the town centre and the ski lift. We really enjoyed our the breakfasts and dinners included in our package. A great place to come back to after a day’s skiing! 🎿

Fabulous location right in the heart of Canazei - perfect place to stay for access into three other interconnected ski areas (Val Gardena, Arabba, Alta Badia) from the heart of Val di Fassa. Staff spoke little English but were always friendly and welcoming, breakfast topped up regularly. Our room was always kept very clean and would definitely stay here again. Only critique would be that some bacon and scrambled eggs would be a welcome addition to breakfast - but plenty of cold meats and pastries to keep you full.

Lovely family run hotel, spotlessly clean & good food. 5 minute bus ride to nearest lift which takes you to main Sella Ronda ski area, hotel ran a minibus morning & afternoon which was brilliant so no carrying skis or walking in ski boots! Handy for the town bars & shops, just a short walk away. Would definitely stay there again

A lovely family-run hotel. Comfortable, clean (rooms cleaned daily), with several cosy spaces and a small bar. Food was excellent with lots of it and good choice. There’s a minibus service to the Belvedere lift (they’ll drive you when you need to go). Good boot room. A very warm welcome and great service.

Stayed for an enjoyable week skiing in the local area. The rooms are great, apart from one noisy neighbour on the balcony one evening, it was quiet. Breakfast is typical for the type of hotel, breads, ham boiled eggs and lots of cake. No hot options but good coffee. Dinner was 3 courses, adequate and interesting menus with a small salad bar. Water at the table is chargeable. The bar and restaurant run a tab for drinks but don't get you to sign, it might be prudent to check the tab if there is a group at your table. The mini bus to the ski lift is useful but earliest pick up is 3:30 if you return early. You can take the skibus up or down the valley from the drop off point, I would recommend Ciampedie or Alba for beginner blue runs. Alba bus goes from outside the hotel. San Pellegrino is at least 2 bus changes and is not linked to Val di Fassa so difficult to get to. Bus tickets for one or more days travel are €2/day and available from hotel reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, grazie.

A great family run hotel, where the owners and staff do their utmost to give you a warm welcome. A mid-range hotel with decent food, very clean rooms and with staff that are helpful and courteous. We were on a weeks ski holiday and for us the hotel was well set up to make this a comfortable experience. Good Ski and boot room, lift to all floors, mini-bus drop off and pick up from the main ski lifts (6 minute walk otherwise) well stocked bar and filling food choices although not overly elaborate. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels every couple of days it felt like, great showers. Just an excellent place to have an enjoyable break...thanks to Massimo and the team.

We had a great week's stay here at Hotel Diana. The staff were extremely friendly, from check-in to the restaurant and couldn't fault the service provided. The dinners were absolutely superb - the portions were incredibly generous and there was something different every night. The tiramisu was the best I've ever tasted! The hotel bus to and from the ski lift was also brilliant as saved a lot of walking after a tiring day on the slopes. Only advice would be to bring your own hairdryer as the one in the room isn't very powerful. Overall would definitely recommend a stay here - the staff are the true gem at this hotel.

Very nice place to stay with all family. Friendly and caring staff, feels like to be part of their family. Nice and cozy rooms.
