Hotel is very well located and the lobby area is pleasant.
Staff are very welcoming, helpful, and professional.
The room really let it down. It was dated and the air con didn’t work well so the room was always too warm. The corridor to the room was also very dated and tired. It needs upgrading.
We had a wonderful sea view with balcony but unfortunately there were too many midges outside for us to use the balcony.
Overall I would say it’s a 3*- room, with a 4* lobby and service from the staff.

The staff was great! They were able to accommodate me on a very late reservation (because of a mixup on my end) They were very helpful and professional. The Hotel Restaurant is fantastic!

Would stay there again in a heartbeat! The staff was exceptional!! Views amazing and such a charming area!! Been all over Italy and this is one of our new favorites!!

A 2 star room in a 4 star hotel.
The room we were given at the Park Hotel was honestly one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in.
It was small, and I mean really small. Barely enough room to get down the side of the small double bed. There was a single chair next to the desk and a footstool. If you moved them out from where they had been positioned, you would have no room at the bottom of the bed to get past. The bed itself was very firm; it felt like sleeping on a wooden platform with a blanket for comfort.
The bedside lights flickered, so you would have to use the main room light if you didn't want a headache. The TV had a sign saying English channels were available, but none of them worked.
There was wallpaper coming away from the wall in several places. Repairs that had been done to the room simply had filler put in and painted over in white, when the wallpaper was a textured cream colour.
In the bathroom, the paint was peeling away from the ceiling, and the pressure from the shower was pitiful. The entrance to the bathroom had a small step with a broken tile, meaning a sharp edge was exposed.
There were no plugs near the bed for charging mobile devices. In fact, the only plug socket in the room was where the kettle was, near the door to the room. There are no coffee-making facilities, only tea (this really surprised us, considering Italy is known for its love of coffee).
The city view we were sold was simply a view of the roof of the building opposite and a view of the street below.
Basically, the room was in a state of disrepair. It was such a contrast to the rest of the hotel, with the reception and lounge area, and dining area being immaculate and very well presented.
We addressed this with the hotel and our travel agent, who told us the hotel was fully booked, so we could not be moved. Yet if you went directly to their website, you could book a room...
We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, other than for breakfast, or use the pool. We did visit the pool area, and it's a small pool with 20 tightly packed deck chairs.
We do not recommend this hotel if you are staying in Desenzano.

First I have to say the pictures make it look amazing (credit to the photographer) so we were slightly disappointed as it's just like any other hotel and this was a special occasion. That said it's probably the only issue we had. The staff were amazing, the food was great and the main areas were well maintained (Our room was looking slightly tired). One suggestion for anyone booking a room with a view over the lake, you need to be at least on the second floor otherwise the trees block the view, I'd suggest the higher the better to be fair although I don't know if there's any disadvantage on being high up.

2nd time visiting Lake Garda Desenzano and the park hotel, like last time we had a wonderful stay, the room we wrre it has had a refurbishment which was nice, shower room was very nicely done and room on the whole was lovely, as was last visit the staff are great and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and Park Hotel is for sure one of the best hotels in Desenzano to stay when visiting

Very nice hotel just outside the lake so close to the port, old town etc. Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful! Very good breakfast. Rooms are spacious. At the top floor nice little pool with amazing view on the lake. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located right on the lake – a truly beautiful and central spot. Everything was clean and well-organized, and the breakfast was delicious and served in a very hygienic setting.
What I loved most was the exceptional level of cleanliness and the outstanding service. A special thank you to Boni S. at the front desk – always welcoming with a smile, extremely helpful, and truly professional.
