Reviews
We got a big spot for our camper-tent.
No mosquitoes at all. Perfect!
Its right on the beach. Great beach bar but get your wallet out if you want a beach chair.
Toilets were clean, but no soap or hand drying equipment.
Our spot was near the water, which meant that we didnt hear any noise in the evening.
we really enjoyed our vacation in Toscania. As part of our journey we styed for 10 days in your campsite Etruria.
See below for significant improvements which desire your attention:
- cleaning: it is category for iself, please. You have very nice camp, unfortunately cleaning services does not work. It is standart that roads, areas around toilets are regularly cleaned. We observed several garbages for whole time we stayed in the thees, on road, on sidewalk...really not nice experience
- toilets maintenance: bulbs, toilets which observably did not work for whole ten days. Again regular push for maintenance needed.
- showers: we have been there two families, unfortunately on female showers there was almost everytime ´unacceptable´ attendace of male workers during evening time. Please, females are feeling NOT SAFE while big male workers are starving on them while showering - this need to be immediately changed!
- pitch maintenance: while arrived, several garbage observed on pitch. No regular maintenance, cleaning.
- soaps: nowhere available soaps, definitely soaps should be MUST on all toilets in 21st century
Positives:
- beach: very nice access to beach, sea clean, very nice!
- reception: very supportive stuff, helped anytime asked, thumbs up!
- nature: ve nice lovation of campsite, family friendly, top!
- pool: connected to family friendly campsite, very good!
- evening kids programme: kids enjoyed a lot!
Generally: Very nice campsite with perfect location and family friendly atmosphere, but HUGE gap with cleaning and maintenance, especially ´UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR´ of stuff on female showers.
Thank you
Ondrej
Really aesthetic bathrooms, washing dishes areas with washing machines available. Very clean on all the campsite.
But no soap in bathrooms, very strange from my perspective. One have to always carry soap if using bathroom.
Restaurants average quality of the served dishes.
Market and bazar store well equipped.
On the reception desk one can't get all the information.
About renting fridge storage - ask at bazar area, about beach equipment -ask on the beach... Hmm
Low wi-fi connection.
The animations till 23:00 which were heard on all campsite.
Even on the private beach came the peddlers. "No thank you" whole day long, it was irritating.
We stayed in a spacious mobile home and enjoyed the roomy terrace, and the area in front of it. The mobile home itself had everything we needed (Equipped kitchen, fridge, tons of space, AC, TV, …) and the distances are walkable.
The pool was great for the kids and the sun beds on the beach were only 10 bucks.
When you arrive, you have to wait that an employee comes with with his electric golf cab.
When he comes back from the visit with the previous customers, you hop on and the employee takes you to the pitch that he decided to give you. No question asked.
We were not really sure about the pitch so we asked to see other pitches. We saw 2 others and decided to choose the 3rd pitch (pitch 279, forget it, it's infested with small red spiders, quite far from the toilets/showers and next to the restaurant were the TV is really loud) but we weren't really happy with our decision. The thing is that you have to decide quite quickly because other customers are waiting at the entrance that you're back in order that they can also choose a pitch... So if you don't care about other people, it's fine, just take your time. But we are not so we took a decision with which we weren't 100% happy.
Anyway, I decided to have a look at the campsite. So I took my bike and made a tour of the campsite. In fact there was a lot of other pitches that they didn't show us that were available (for example 228, 243, 387, 386, 115, 116) but they weren't showed to us and if you don't know the campsite it's almost impossible to guess where you can find a pitch that meets your expectations.
The campsite is divided in 2 zones, the beach side and the wood side. Pitches on the beach side are next to the beach (obviously) but don't offer that much shade. Almost only traveler pitches. On the other side, in the Wood part, there is a lot of shade and the temperature is much cooler but almost 99% of the pitches are occupied with bungalows.
Still, I found 2 pitches (115 and 116 next to the pool) that would have been perfect for us on the wood side. So we went to the reception and asked if we could move to one of the two pitches. Answer from the reception: "it's not possible because the pitches are not ready"... Pitches are not ready??!?!?! Uh. They were perfectly ready for camping (see the photos).
We then decided to stay only one night instead of the 4 planed.
I understand the need of organisation for such a huge campsite but they lack of flexibility and should ask the customers what they want before showing them any pitch...
The personnel is lack of onergy and effort, many of them do not speak English. In that case you have to use all the energy to deal with them.
We were there with our camper, so we wanted to use local toilets and showers. There was no soap and moreover the spot was not clean as you would expect. The number of toilets and showers is highly underestimated, there are only three of them for the whole big place.
Even more, in lagoon, there is necessary to wear caps on your head. The pool was not so clean either. So the reason of wearing that caps was unreasonable.
The total price is much higher than you would expect to pay. We will not definitely come back.
Multiple restaurants available.
