We would have had a perfect stay, were it not for the fact that when we arrived the cleaning lady had used our sanitary room for a number two.
We understand every person has their basic human needs, but she overstepped the line, especially since over the stay the cleaning lady (we could not find out which one, might have even been a guy) kept dropping humongous loads in our private toilet – sometimes when we were present in the appartment.
Fair and square, sometimes the need is high. However, throughout the whole trip she also sporadically pulled off our pants, put them on herself, and then blasted out massive gas bombs in them, all without us noticing.
"Okay sure", you might think at this point, "this poor woman was just having very serious bowel problems". But the last day one of our roommates (The Sparrow) woke up from a very fun, entertaining and alcoholic evening, only to have his good morning mood ruined by the fact that the cleaning lady apparently decided to sneak into the appartment in the dead of night to vomit all over his bed. The audacity is hard to capture in words at this point.
Well, we tipped her anyway because she may be fine. Yes, she was okay. 5/5.
P.S. they could also have the Mossad agent hiding in the closet looked at

We were very disappointed during our stay at this hotel. The furniture was damaged, the shower was full of mold, and there was no cleaning or linen change. The staff made no effort to communicate (only Italian), and we had the unpleasant surprise of having to pay completely hidden additional fees. The swimming pool requires the mandatory use of swimming caps, yet another rule missing from the website, like much other essential information. In short: a deceptive hotel, uncomfortable, and far from the expected standards. We left extremely unhappy and absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

Terrible experience at this hotel, verbally abused by other clients staying at the hotel (attending a wedding) upon check in, although not the fault of the hotel, staff seemed to ignore it and bypassed comments heard. Totalled crashed cars in the car park - they must attract the worst of clientele. Fireworks being set off at 1am outside rooms with small children, bar staff try to charge you for drinks you haven't ordered and hotel staff dont understand English and fail to make any efforts to communicate.

The room was OK, nothing special but not bad. For the price, I expected more. The location was OK as well, it was a little outside of Leuca (20mins walk to the centre).
The restaurant was great! I thank my waiter Mohammed for being extremely professional & nice. He truly made the dining experience wonderful😊 All the other waiters for very kind as well.
Finally, I recommend the beauty centre for a massage. Very good prices, and very kind lady!🌟
All in all, a very positive experience! The price of the room is a bit high, but all the additional experiences are worth it.

We booked the Messapia Hotel & Resort through TUI, expecting a 4-star experience as advertised. Sadly, this hotel fell far below expectations, and we ended up leaving after one night. Our main issues: Accommodation: The apartment had only one air-conditioning unit for the entire space, leaving the bedroom unbearably hot. We had to sleep on the kitchen floor the first night. Maintenance & Cleanliness: The bathroom had mold, the locks on the doors were broken, and the apartment felt very tired and poorly maintained. Facilities: There was no Wi-Fi in the apartment, no drinking water provided, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Customer Service: We found it very difficult to communicate with staff as very few spoke English, and no one from the hotel checked on us after we reported issues. We booked another hotel at our own expense as we could not stay here any longer. From our experience, this hotel is nowhere near the 4-star standard we have come to expect from TUI holidays and would rate it closer to 2 stars at best. I would strongly advise checking recent reviews before booking.

Reception bit unorganized, we were waiting for room more than 1 hour (check-in 5:00 pm, we called in advance around 4.15 pm if possible to check-in earlier, no problem, but than waiting more than 1 hour because they were cleaning the room). They had this calling service once room ready, for us they didn't have even papers ready (needed to search, so more time wasted), wifi was not stable at the room (lack of proper coverage for our part of the area of the resort), breakfast not bad, but seems to me like stuck in 1998 when it come to food choices. Room was clean, but bath could be renovated a bit, there was no minibar and there was cigarette left in the candle glass on the balcony, parking was good, location also good.

This hotel is listed as 4 star, but the accommodation is not. Damp patches in room, mould in the shower, frayed bath mats, old towels, and a metal rod of approx 3/4 inches was sticking out of the wall in the bathroom. No water in the room. The restaurant ran out of butter for a couple of days and there was no Breakfast tea for the last 10 days of our holiday. When asked the staff just shrugged. However, overall the food was excellent. English is hardly spoken, which could be challenging if you didn’t speak Italian. Luckily I did. You need a car there as taxis are few and far between, if any.
