Cesa Sara in Ortisei

Stayed for a week on January 2020. Nice location, nice apartment. Some equipment needs refreshment, but alltogether it was a decent stay. That is, until you complain or ask something from the owner. He starts being rude and humiliating. Not listening at all, what a customer has to say. It was even a point where he showed an aggresion, when I didn't agree with him. If I didn't stop, he sure would be prepared to start a fight. If you decide to visit his premises, be prepared not to complain.

We (a family of four) stayed a week in this apartment in July 2020. The apartment is nice, with a nice view. Some equipment is good, some a bit old (our microwave oven had a broken handle and was not possible to use). Wi-Fi was very unstable. There was a sauna in the facility, however it was not included and the cost was high (€8 per person). But these small things were nothing we cared about. The host's behavior was, however, NOT OK. On the day of arrival we asked for free buss tickets and free swimming pool tickets as one usually gets in Ortisei (this was our 3rd trip to this town). We got those tickets only on day 3. We broke two water glasses during our stay, and after I told the host about that, we got charged €2 per glass. This is however OK, even though it was the first time we got charged for such things after 16 trips to the Alps.
We were planning to take a walk in the mountains even on the day of our departure, so we asked the host if it was possible to leave our car at some parking place close to his house and to leave our mobile coolbox plugged into 220V outlet for the day. The host didn't allow us to leave our car and charged us €5 for electricity for allowing us to keep our coolbox running for 6-7 hours.
However the worst thing happened when I was leaving the keys to the host. He checked the apartment and claimed that it was not as clean as on the day of our arrival. He pointed specifically to the electric hob finding some traces of oil on the wall behind it. He claimed that we were DISRESPECTFULL leaving the apartment in this shape making comments about my wife's ability to clean. I admit that the apartment was not perferctly clean, but it SHOULD NOT be either since final cleaning was included in the price!!! In our opinion we left the apartment in a tidy (not cleaned) shape, so we don't admitt being disrespectfull in any way. However, we find the host's way to handle his guests HIGHLY DISRESPECTFULL. Mr Hoffer, with this attitude, I expect that you wash all your dishes yourself after each restaurant visit!
In short, the host made it perfectly clear that he does not want to see us as guests again. And this feeling is mutual!
