Our stay here was absolutely incredible! Everything exceeded our expectations. The place was super clean, and the view was breathtaking. We could hear the soothing sound of the river, which added to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was excellent also the staff here were exceptionally nice

The owners - now 5th generation - are wonderful, multi-lingual hosts. "Mom and Dad" cook excellent meals - actually, "Mom" is a true jack-of-all-trades. There's a 4-course meal with a choice of two appetizers and two entrees each evening, or you could opt to eat out, which would be a rather bad choice on your part. The salad and vegetable buffet is clean, fresh and most ample. Breakfast buffet: mountain climbers will not leave hungry! Hot tip: Mom's cooked-to-order scrambled eggs are delicious! Our room was spacious, squeaky-clean and comfortable. There's a mini-fridge for chilling drinks. Hotel Maibad is located across the road from the Rosshopf - Monte Cavallo cable car. The visitor's card supplied by the hotel gets you a discount there. Also located across the road are a bakery (Try the apple strudel!) and a fair-sized store that sells soft drinks and beer, as well as a rather large selection of wine and spirits. We would love to return to Hotel Maibad again next year. That's the best recommendation!

The staff are very accommodating and client facing, I’ve stayed there twice and everything was great. The phrase „it can’t be done” is not in the hotel’s staff’s vocabulary. I will be coming back.

Lovely family run hotel with excellent dinners, great family room and surprisingly close to the center. We have stayed here repeatedly and are sure to come again.

Maibad hotel is situated in a great location because location is all that matters when you travel. The hotel is managed by family members so everyone is always warm and welcoming. Directly outside are a number of restaurants whether you are interested in a gourmet meal or just a burger. The center is 10 mins walk away.
