Hotel Goldknopf in Siusi

This is truly a beautiful hotel. The staff are always courteous and friendly. Often fluent in 3 languages. The outside seating area has great views of the valley ski run down to Florian.

I have had the pleasure of returning to this mountain hotel for over a decade, across both summer and winter seasons, and the experience remains consistently stellar. The location is unbeatable—a serene base with easy access to hiking trails in the summer and world-class slopes in the winter. Each visit feels like coming home, thanks to the familiar, welcoming staff who remember guests and go out of their way to anticipate needs.

The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, offering a cozy retreat after long days of exploration or skiing. The dining experience is a highlight year after year, with a thoughtfully curated menu that showcases regional flavors while offering reliable favorites for all tastes. The breakfast spread sets a perfect tone for active days, with ample options and quality ingredients.

What truly elevates this hotel is the service. The team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel cared for providing weather- and route-appropriate recommendations, or simply sharing local insights. The atmosphere feels intimate and genuine, never forgetting that guests may be returning for the tenth time and might even bring friends along.

The facilities suit both seasons: a cozy common area to unwind after a day outdoors, well-kept spa or wellness options, and practical conveniences that make a mountain stay effortless. Fantastic luxury hotel to explore the Alpe Di Siusi (Seiseralm). Our room had a breathtaking view on the Punta Santner and the distant Seceda, both breakfast and dinner were always excellent, the personnel is very kind and professional.

What an incredible stay… I could’ve spent the whole trip just wandering the area with my camera. The scenery is unreal, rolling valleys, dramatic peaks. Every corner looks like a postcard. When staying at Goldknopf you’re completely surrounded by it. The hotel itself is amazing, super friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The team adapted their dishes to be vegetarian for us, which we found very kind and delicious. The sauna and whirlpools have amazing views too. If you’re coming to the Dolomites to really experience the landscape, this is the place! Already want to go back!

We had an incredible stay at Goldknopf and especially want to highlight how kind and helpful the staff were throughout our visit. From the friendly smiles in the morning to the extra effort they put in, for example, although the menu didn’t have many vegetarian options, the team went out of their way to adapt dishes for us and impressed us with the quality every time. And the location… absolutely unbeatable. You’re right in the heart of it all: surrounded by the Seiser Alm valleys and the breathtaking Dolomite mountains. We highly recommend getting up early for a sunrise walk. The wellness area is another highlight: the sauna has an incredible view, and with two whirlpools facing different directions, you’ll always have a stunning backdrop no matter the time of day. The rooms offer the same panoramic views. Oh, and don’t forget to treat yourself to a gin & tonic at the terrace, it’s made with their homemade gin. All in all, a perfect stay if you want to truly experience the Dolomites rather than just visit. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing place to rest during the ski. Hotel is located at Paradiso slope. Excellent desserts, food and coffee. And above all The Team and Staff supporting all gests are top class. Helpful and willing to support you with all even unexpected things. Top class service! I am not putting pictures of food because it was too delicious to resist and take a photo but I will try to add it soon.

We spent four days in this marvelous hôtel & restaurant. We loved everything and plan to come every year at least one or two times.
