Hotel Luna Lido in Torre San Giovanni

The hotel is positioned in a great place right next to the sea front, our room was spacious clean and looked almost brand new, smart tv in the room with strong fast wifi, Nice large balcony with views to the sea, we were here out of season but the staff made us very welcome. The lucky people staying in the summer will benefit from a new reception, we would like to thank the hotel for kindly arranging a transfer to our next destination.

We stayed the first week of September, an excellent hotel with staff attentive to needs and respectful of Covid regulations.
Side sea view room with good cleanliness and spacious terrace.

Shuttle to the beach accompanied by Tommaso and Luca very kind.

The hotel is a 3 star superior all you deserve. We stayed in this hotel from 26 August to 4 September, immediately the kindness and helpfulness of the owner Gianni, who welcomed us by offering us a coffee at the hotel bar, after the trip, I can safely say that if you expect to feel pampered, this place will not disappoint you. The strengths are all the staff, Angela at the reception from the afternoon seemed to completely respect her precise name simple, nice and humble, her colleague in the morning likewise, the restaurant with the chef Francesco who made a lasagna with broccoli and sausage so much balanced in flavors and cooking, which I will remember for all my life, in general, however, dishes and food of the highest level, maximum attention of the waiters, who made a mess only once on a first course, then brought the right one, leaving me the wrong one in addition , needless to say that I finished both of us, the breakfast buffet in the morning looked like a charm, presented with rare attention, the colors, the beauty and the variety left you breathless, the possibility of having an extra brioche (I'm greedy) , soft and fluffy sandwiches with the possibility of being accompanied by fresh and light cold cuts, drinks such as cappuccino, prepared every day with the machine from the bar and not the automatic one give the sensation of the difference in attention towards the customer, who immediately tunes in to a tranquility of treatment. In the evening at dinner I saw twice a preview of the performance of pizzica Salentina, the amount of food on the plates adequate to not get you up from the table with an empty stomach or too heavy, variety of choice with an extra first and second second in number compared to all the other hotels in which I have stayed. The shuttle to and from the beach in rotation as foreseen by the timetables, Mr. Vito very kind on the beach made us choose the place that pleased us most based on the availability of the moment, in the morning always clean beach, some algae in the afternoon symptomatic of the currents, bar well stocked with services. Elegant corridors, and always very clean, spacious room, verified cleaning returned from breakfast (they were doing it), two kind girls, frequent linen change, (3 times in 9 days), with air conditioning included, Wi-Fi, fridge, TV, safe electronics, recent fixtures and electric shutters, spacious bathroom with 70x90 cm shower, not all hotels have it so spacious. I left the car in the underground garage for a fee, but I no longer had to worry about going to Lecce with this one, since there is a very comfortable bus with various transit times that stops near the hotel, all explained promptly by Mr. Franco at the reception. Bikes available, including a tandem. This stay made me forget the one of the previous week in a hotel in Abruzzo used as an intermediate stop (arriving from Turin). I conclude by saying that on the day of departure, Mr. Franco offered to accompany us after finishing his shift, to the distributor closest to the way back, with the application, I would have gone to a more uncomfortable one, a family treatment that left me with memories and a certainty of reliability in the years to come if I ever return to those magnificent places again.
