5 minutes walking from the Sassi, great location especially if you have a car, as you can park right next to the hotel. Fabio, the owner, is very kind and overall the personnel has been welcoming. Would come back here again!

Central location, comfortable room, super comfy bed, and friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff without being intrusive. Two of us stayed for three nights. The manager was very kind, and the atmosphere was quiet and charming. We'll definitely be back.

I stayed here during a business trip because of its strategic location—just steps from the central station, yet still close to the historic center. Fabio was very kind in guiding me to the apartment and also gave me excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The receptionist was extremely helpful with my luggage and taxi booking (thanks again!). Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel for months while visiting Matera for work. It's a welcoming, clean, and centrally located hotel with fantastic staff who make you feel at home and are ready to accommodate any request. You simply feel at home. Special mention goes to Fabio, the owner, who is kind, helpful, and always attentive.

It was really good. The staff was kind and helpful. Haha. I guess they looked tired, so they let me drink a whole bottle of orange juice. I want to go again.

Terrible, we slept very badly, double bed made up of two single beds, we woke up with a lot of pain, I highly recommend not going and looking for anything else... We booked through Smartbox, first of all it had to be a SUITE, as the Smartbox said and obviously it was a simple room, we had dinner and it was replaced with a cold cuts platter, really bad experience, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Very kind and helpfull staff. They gave lots of informations about the city, sightsing, restaurants. Very good location. Close to the old city. Free parking in the street, probably some chance to have place.

Located near the historic center of the city of Matera, the hotel has a small reception, adjacent to a TV room and a flight of stairs from which you can access the rooms. The latter are only accessible via stairs (there are no elevators) and are very tidy and clean. An elegant parquet covers the floor, on which a bed with a very comfortable mattress is placed. The bathroom, although very small, is equipped with everything you need (except for the bidet). The hotel staff proved to be very polite and professional. Excellent breakfast, thanks to the collaboration with bars adjacent to the hotel (during my stay I tried the cafeteria of the Arucci bar) which offer a wide choice of croissants and drinks. Good value for money considering the high season during which I stayed (90 euros for one night in a double room). Absolutely recommended!
