Manuela and Valentina were so helpful with all of my questions on WhatsApp before arriving and during the stay! I live in Napoli and my friend stayed here while visiting from the states. Pino parked my car for me when we arrived & was always available to drive us into Amalfi and to a nearby spa or pick us up from the port! It was half the price a regular taxi would have charged 😳 (because they’re vampires on the Amalfi coast 🤣)

We met Pino and Filomena and Manuela , Valentina . They went way above my expectation. We went with 20 family members and we were treated with royalty. Anything we needed we would ask they would get it done for you arrange a ride or go to the beach, restaurant , tours to different places like capri. Sorry it took me so lone to write a review . But go there great experience . Thank you from my family to yours .

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. Everything was as promised, everything worked and everything was clean and tidy. The hotel is exactly as promised in the brochures. The staff was really friendly and helpful with everything we had questions. The breakfast was more then expected with so many different foods available every morning and we really could eat our stomachs full every morning. Big thank you and a great recommendation for this hotel.

Locanda Costa DAmalfi exceedec our expectations. All the facilities and services were exactly as informed in the brochures. The staff was really nice and helpful with everything we had questions. The hotel even arranged all taxi transportations to us to the hotel from Naples airport. The breakfast was very good every morning and there were so many different foods to eat so that we really got our stomachs full of food every morning.

We stayed with Filomena, Emanuela and Pino between June 29th and July 6th 2022. Great location, excellent and friendly service that will really make your stay unforgettable. Thank you for helpings us navigate around the beautiful places at Amalfi Cost. Highly recommend staying at Locanda Costa D’Amalfi, place has great location, rooms are cleaned every day, breakfast is offered daily, with very friendly service. nearby restaurants and access to public transport help a lot. The staff is really amazing, we fell super comfortable and they help us with ferry reservation and recommendations of your and restaurant. The breakfast is awesome. Our room “Amalfi” has a perfect view of the sea and a super big terrace.

The hotel wasn't my taste. The bed and pillow are uncomfortable and the breakfast bad. The hosts - the man and the lady in the morning - are both nice and they took us in the centre of Amalfi twice, which is a 8-10 minute drive. we highly appreciated that. What pissed me off was the lady in the afternoon shift asking me to pay cash the city tax so that she can save money.There is also a bus stop very close to the property. Overall, the price was too high for what we got...like anything on the Amalfi Coast.

Extremely rude and verbally aggressive manager!!!
My wife and I walked in this evening to check their menu for dinner. We were served water, but since we didn't like the menu options and $$$ prices, we told them we would like to pay for the water, and won't be eating (total stay in restaurant less than 5min). So far everything looked normal and the staff told us water is €3, which we would happily pay, but to our surprise the manager didn't take this well and he suddenly started making rude comments such as "you are not welcome here, don't come to Italy!", and "go back to your country!". These were the english sentences, but there were more Italian comments made that we couldn't understand and I'm assuming were rude just based on the tone.
Such rude behavior with a customer never happens in US! So to all my fellow countrymen, my recommendation is to stay away from this place and drive 8min more to Amalfi where there are many great welcoming restaurant choices at much more reasonable prices as well!

***Comments on the Owner's response: You can simply not change the truth by playing with words! I am not going to even respond to all your artificial "truth", and obviously I was not expecting an apology from you based on how you've behaved and how you have responded to other complaints online, but from your comment "those who are the original true Americans for generations" you made it clear that you are not only RUDE and CONDESCENDING, but also a RACIST!
This is disgusting behavior and believe me you will be in trouble if you had done this in US!
P.S. I am not going to respond to any more comments as you are simply not worth it

For the restaurant: made a reservation for dinner with a group of 8. We went with the catch of the day and a family style meal. The food was fantastic but even more so the staff treated us incredibly well, it was easily the best meal we have had during our weeklong stay in Amalfi. 100% recommend and will definitely be back on the next visit.

Can't recommend this place enough- our room was a good size, comfortable and clean. We had a great size terrace with spectacular views on the coast. The B&B is just outside Amalfi but being beside a bus stop makes it very easy to get into town on the regular buses.

The people who run the B&B are incredibly friendly and provided great service during the stay. Breakfast is brought to the room each morning, plus they also helped us out with a lift from the ferry when stuck.

Restaurant downstairs is also fantastic. Would definitely come back here in the future!

For the restaurant:
Great value for fresh seafood dishes. Delicious sea bass and moules appetizer. We came here twice in two days. Very kind staff.

For the hotel:
Room was superb and spotless. Thanks to Agatha, one of the employees there, for being so kind to us. She encouraged us to go to the lemon tree garden with spectacular views of the ocean to enjoy the perfect breakfast she had prepared. It was unforgettable. Agatha really made us feel so welcome. Martina at reception was also very responsive and helpful to our inquiries. This hotel went above and beyond. Thank you!

We stayed in the hotel on June 19 and 20 and ate in the restaurant on our last evening in Amalfi. I am uncertain why there are such low reviews for both the hotel as well as the restaurant. Both were exactly as described by the owner (which is a family owned and operated hotel and restaurant) and well exceeded our expectations for quality, professionalism, and overall friendliness. Breakfast on the balcony cannot be skipped, and the host was extremely generous with his time and attention to help us navigate to sites we wanted to see. As for the restaurant, the waiters were awesome and worked seamlessly as a team. There seemed to be an equal number of hotel guests and local patrons the evening we dined there. The convenient location, the view from our balcony, and the overall value for the prices we paid were all exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better start to the west coast part of our vacation. We recommend this property without any qualifications.
