Philip Royal in Naples

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Royal Gismondo in Naples. The location is absolutely great, right next to the central train station, which made getting around very easy. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was super clean. We also really enjoyed the nice common lounge area. The accommodation is very reasonably priced, and the included breakfast (coffee and a pastry) at the cafe next door was a great addition. Highly recommended!

We've just spent 5 days in the holiday apartments. It's a great base as the train station is over the road. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful

I spent two days and every things was perfect the room was clean and lighted. The toilet and towel was also clean. Near to station.
The staff was very friendly and helpful

We had a great stay at Royal Gismonda. Located 20m from Garibaldi station, the location was excellent. Not in the main centre, but either a 15 walk, or two stops on the metro. Our room was spotless and quirky. Some nice (inexpensive) bars and restraurants within a 30 second walk. Antonio (owner) met us and was very friendly and helpful. This hotel also has a open terrace and shared kitchen where you can makes drinks, or even prepare food if you wanted to. Naples centre can be very manic, and the location of Royal Gismonda was ideal as not so busy. Do bear in mind, this is a city hotel, so expect traffic and general city noise. I would definately recommend this as a base for a stay in Naples

Okay, hear me out. It's a little hard to find, and the outside is kind of shady at first. But with how rough Naples is, my husband and I found a safe haven here. It's across the street from the train station so if you are planning on heading to Pompeii it's a great spot. We took a tour to the Amalfi coast and it's a good pick up location as well. Metro is also in the Piazza so easy to get on. I'd recommend this place if you're an independent traveler. (What we assume was) the owner isn't completely fluent in English, and there was never anyone at the front desk, but he helped as much as he could upon check in. Also: FREE WATER here which in Naples can be particularly hard to find. Free breakfast comes in the form of a voucher to a cafe downstairs. The entrance is a large, old school door a few doors down from a pharmacy. We got help from some servers at a restaurant a few doors down to locate it. Give this place a chance if you're not a needy tourist! Plus, the bathroom is pretty sexy!
