The room was super clean, a little bit dated but it added to the charm. The breakfast was superb and the staff were super friendly and attentive. We had a room with the ocean view and what a view it was! Seeing the sunset from the balcony is just next level. I'd say the improvement they could make would be to have a better mattress but I'm just being picky

Don't be put off by poor reviews . We stayed in a twin/ Double room with Seaview balcony and amazing sunsets . The room was a little dated but had a fridge hairdryer and kettle all in working order and decent air-conditioning i would bring a small extension cable as only a couple of sockets . bed was comfortable enough but made all the better listening to the sound of waves . Plenty of sunbeds to be found and free towels available , lovely pool and direct access to the beach although it is pebbly. Rooms cleaned daily. Nice Restaurant area, Fabulous choice for breakfast and eat as much as you like . Evening meal is also buffet style although not as much choice as for breakfast we still found it not too bad just lacked a good dessert selection. Free shuttle bus to Sorrento and back daily,which is really handy other than that its about 20 minutes to the bus station and train station . Nearest supermarket is about a 10 minute walk away but up a hill

This hotel/ resort is old school! It has a breathtaking view of Naples bay and Ischia! Cobble beach that is maintained daily. Massive veranda and pool with panache! Restaurant and Bar service! The front desk manager went out of his way to provide with an exceptional experience!!

A wonderful hotel, decorated in a nautical theme, couldn’t ask form more in terms of location right on the sea, shuttle bus ran every day into town, due to the mad prices on taxis. Some of the most helpful staff I’ve encountered, the only draw back is the buffet food but to be expected, I never get my hopes up for the food in hotels. But on the doorstep there are 5/6 restaurants to walk to, and in sorrento centre plenty of options. Would happily return

14 nights family room. Brilliant hotel. Perfect sea view from balcony with sun set.
Came on wedding package with 3 kids. The staff where amazing every day and very helpful with twins.
There are minor defects with hotel damaged furnishings and walls. Nothing major. Family still had a great time.
Free shuttle bus into sorrento including return.
Only downside is not much to do locally entertainment wise for young kids. More of a adults hotel.

Nice hotel, just lacking modern touches apart from the pool area. You need to have a car or relay on bus to get to town centre cannot walk. The pool area is very nice tho.

Do not let the bad reviews of this hotel put you off - it really is great.

The hotel is clean, stylish and well furnished. The reception, bar, pool and dining areas are all immaculate. The room (Superior Double with a balcony and sea view, number 206 in our case) was clean, functional, a good size and generally of a very good standard. Style of the room was traditional and characterful, do not expect modern beige/grey furnishings and fittings.

We only had breakfast at the hotel, but there was a good choice of pastries, breads, fruits, cheeses, meats, yoghurts and cooked breakfast options. All of a good quality.

Access to the small private beach area via the steps is great and convenient. Just bring some beach footwear as it is a natural shingle beach.

For access into Sorrento and back again, the shuttle bus runs approximately every 2 hours through the day starting at 9am. Just be sure to book the day before - we never had any issues with this, there was always availability. My (very small) criticism of the hotel is about the shuttle service though. The last shuttle to leave Sorrento is 18.00 or you have to wait until 22.40. I think a bus in between these 2 times is needed. But it's only a minor inconvenience as the local bus service is available, and very cheap, and drops you off less than a 5 minute walk away. The local bus is very good for getting to both Sorrento and the train station.

The staff were always on hand to answer any questions we had and were always very helpful.

There is a good selection of local restaurants along the beachfront, and some even do takeaway options for food and drinks. La Conca shack is also good for getting drinks and snacks during the day. The local shop is a bit of a hike up the stairs, but isn't too far to walk (10-15mins) - it's Italy everythings is up a set of stairs!

Overall a great hotel, we really loved our time here - great room and hotel facilities, amazing view, good local restaurants, good location and travel services.
We both struggled to understand why there are so many recent bad reviews - it just didn't make sense to us. Do not hesitate to book this hotel.

We booked a room with a balcony and sea view. Make sure you select a balcony, we got a french balcony which is very small to enjoy it but other than that great service, and location, a private beach and rooms. I couldn't have asked for anything less.very relaxing and great place to stay on amalfi coast. 12 min from sorrento , 23 min from positano.

Had a trip of my life. Definitely will come back
