We loved our stay here! Quieter than Amalfi and Positano but could easily get to either town with the city bus or water taxi.

The The room was very nice and the area around the hotel exceptional. The staff was helpful and the ability to park on site for a fee was very welcome. The restaurant breakfast was adequate but nothing great. The dinner options were good but very eclectic. The pricing was a little high and I don't know if the menu would meet everyone's expectations.

It's a very difficult journey for those using public transportation, but it's a wonderful place.
The room interior is lovely, and breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the beach.
The beach right in front of the hotel feels like a secluded spot and is absolutely stunning.
The Praiano ferry terminal is right in front, making it ideal for heading to the next tourist spot.
The staff were very helpful and even showed me how to buy ferry tickets. I'd love to go again.

Breakfast was HORRIBLE! Fruit Flies everywhere.!!!!! Server (Male) Terrible attitude if you asked for Coffee.
Everything seemed to be an inconvenience.
Chef walks around like he's a Master Chef with No one in the restaurant.
NOT WORTH $400 plus a nite.
Would NOT go back!

Read the bad reviews of this place. Everything is true. HORRIBLE and RUDE staff, literally some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Don’t be fooled by the location. The accommodations suck, the people who work there are miserable, everything is extremely overpriced and they will nickel and dime you every chance they get. Avoid at all costs. You’ve been warned.

We only had drinks at the outside bar and Arturo Antonio barman was a very attentive and helpful server. The atmosphere was a perfect space on the coast of italy and the service was super. What more hyperbole verbiage can I can say? I like it short and sweet.

Loved this cute little beach side hotel. Room was recently updated and very clean. Bathroom looked brand new. The mattress was very comfortable compared to others we had been on in our trip. AC worked wonderful and then included breakfast was delicious especially the pastries. Perfect for our last night in Italy. Would highly recommend.

Very very good location, but only this...room very poor for the money asked, old and antique..much worst than some hostels and some b&b... old furniture, poor toilet (with no shower box or bathtub). One and only time there!

Spent 10 Days at Hotel, took Half Board, Buffet Breakfast, evening meal, food was adequate & good, but keep to the Fish! Simple Room with sea view, very clean, air conditioner, Bathroom bit on the small side but overall good value for money At my age did not do much walking but lots of trails & views for those more active Location too small for Cruise Ships & Big Tour Boats which was fine by me, went on trip to Positano was amazed at number of people in such a small area. Also took trip to Capri, swimming off boat included, great trip Morning walk to "Piratana" for glass of wine & to take in the view

The staff here are incredible. They were welcoming, genuine and took great care of us during our stay. They helped us out with booking reservations through local businesses and guided us on some activities we wanted to do. There is a great swimming area just down the steps from the hotel, there is a gym to exercise at, a pool and the meals are fantastic. We would stay here again every time! Great location, great staff, great amenities. Love Villa Maria Pia!

"My stay at Hotel Villa Maria Pia was an absolute dream. The location is simply unbeatable, perfectly situated between Positano and Amalfi, making it an ideal base for exploring the stunning coastline. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt like a cherished guest. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The food was exquisite – the gnocchi was a multi-cheese masterpiece, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. And let's not forget the view! sparkling ocean from my room and enjoying breakfast with that same breathtaking vista was pure magic. I can't recommend Hotel Villa Maria Pia highly enough – it's a true gem!

Amazing place! Wonderful staff from reception to the restaurant. Beautiful location. Very clean rooms and premises. Delicious breakfast. Gorgeous views. You can relax by the pool or walk down to the sea. Will definitely return here!

My husband and I just stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we wish we stayed longer. This was the best place we have ever stayed by far and we both have traveled a bit. The entire staff is so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and you really feel the family environment they keep. The views were stunning, and location was perfection, we were able to rent a scooter to hop town to town which made it so easy to get around. But even after visiting other locations we both agreed Praiano has our hearts especially after staying at Villa Maria Pia. We know we will always stay here when we visit and will tell all our friends and family they have to stay here too! It’s just the best!

Wonderful hotel. Staff is fantastic, helpful and friendly. The rooms were great, very clean and all w views of the water. Had a small dock down on the water where you can swim and also get picked up by the water taxi and shuttle boat, very convenient. The family room was perfect for our group. Thank you for a perfect vacation on the Amalfi coast.
