Gadames Hotel - Lunch on the Beach in Cervia

A negative experience on all fronts:
We entered the hotel and were greeted by a blonde lady without a hello or a smile.
The rooms were poorly maintained, the food was basic, the rooms were only half-renovated, and the windows and shutters were crumbling. One evening, we didn't have hot water for a shower; we were told that at 7:30 PM, it was normal because we were all taking it... In short, a disaster. We left the hotel the next morning to enjoy the rest of our long-awaited vacation in another 3-star hotel.

I stayed at your hotel from August 11th to 18th, and once I arrived around 7:30, everything was fine. We left our luggage in the lobby area since it was early to get the room. The owner at the front desk kindly explained to me where the fenced parking lot was 500 meters away, and once we parked the car, we went back and went to the affiliated beach resort 216 to find the umbrella. Around 11:30, the room was ready. Once we got up, the room was very hot, so I turned on the air conditioning. But alas, the air conditioning was blowing at speed 3, not even the sound of a child trying to blow out a candle. The air conditioning didn't work! The next day, I went downstairs and mentioned my inconvenience: the air conditioning wasn't working (it's a pseudo-air conditioner), which dates back to the 1980s. When I asked why it wasn't working, Mrs. Marcella simply replied, "Yes, there are some that don't work; they're dated and tired!" 🤦But what kind of response would that be? I also told her if she knew it wasn't working, why didn't she point it out to me right away, since before preparing a room they had to check that it was working. I paid for the air conditioning and it was the least that worked. She advised me to leave the French window open, saying that it wasn't that hot that night and she wanted to foist a fan on me. Are you kidding me!! I saw her giving some fans to some customers of a certain age. Moral of the story, I slept a shitty night, with the noise of people making a racket at 3 in the morning, dogs barking, drunk kids kicking cans and laughing. In the morning I went down to reception and reported that the air wasn't working and that I had slept badly. I got annoyed by having slept badly and responded a little rudely, but all of this was normal. I wanted her to send me a technician!! But I have to tell her to send me a technician to fix it!!! A changed condenser so he told me.. Same as before.. Unconditional air.. In the dining room it was quite hot🤦🤦many were fanning themselves with fans.. excellent cuisine, friendly and smiling waiters.. I will definitely never come to Gadames again.. If you pay for a service it must work!! No bullshit!! 2 stars
