Hotel Aris Garden in Casal Palocco

OK hotel but no way near 4 star. The building is old and in a desperate need for renovation. Next to the hotel is a shopping mall with a roof damaged from a recent fire so the view was quite awful. Standard triple room was a disappointment with minimal space. Upgrade to a junior suite was a must. There are only two of them so we got lucky. The view from the "Olga" suite was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area is a big plus but is quite crowded and noisy during daytime because of the school and daycare groups. The location is not a tourist center so that can be a good or a bad thing. For us it was refreshing and felt more authentic.

Hotel to the top in the past few years . Time makes need updates. Rooms not very soundproof but was good. In a good location for the level.

We have spent the Last 4 days at the Hotel Aris Garden. All in All, a fairly impressive Hotel from the outside not very presentable, the Interior is rather "old-fashioned". The rooms are nicely decorated, but could use a new coat of paint.At first glance, well cleaned, maybe the window should be cleaned...The bathroom.....well.... Is the toilet cleaned, shower ....oh my God....It takes a small eternity, until the water is warm and the beam is almost not a jet... also, some of the mold corners to hide...unfortunately...
Since we had only booked Overnight stay with Breakfast, I can tell you to eat only the Breakfast buffet is absolutely sufficient and delicious. Fresh bread rolls, cereals, in many varieties, fresh fruit, jam, honey...very extensive. For those who prefer the hearty version, can be ordered in the operation of sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, etc. Hereby, a very dear Person that has helped us with advice and assistance in case of language problems or other holper stones was again named our super sweet and cute operation "Sonja",. THANK you , dear Sonja :) Small tip: the hot food at the Bar is a joke...8 euros for 3 forks full of Spaghetti...and the taste is.. well, ala microwave... The Pool is unfortunately only from June-September, but most likely it would have been too cold....Unfortunately, we have searched in vain for the advertised indoor pool and a fitness room...
