De Russie Hotel in Rome

For the 3rd morning in a row we had the most amazing breakfast experience at the Hotel Restaurant The Garden. The food is amazing. The service is beyond exceptional. The experience from the Host to the Waiters was perfect. Everyone is friendly and smiling led by Mario who I assume is the Manager!

We had 4 nights at the Hotel de Russie The hotel is stylish and well maintained Our room overlooked the garden and was well appointed Breakfast was great - good choices - friendly and efficient team led by Mario The spa - we had great massages Bar was always busy with locals - friendly service

Amazing hotel, perfect location, wonderful friendly and efficient staff, really comfortable room and bed. Breakfast a delight from the food to the staff outstanding. Lunch in the bar outside magical. Spa fabulous although did not have a treatment but again from staff to facilities amazing. Decor fabulous, flowers a wow and loved the two residents cats, very respectful. Garden an oasis and delight . Concierge all exceptional as were reception and doormen. Thank you to all we will return

Hotel de Russie is hidden between Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps, and it feels like a secret that Rome itself is telling you. The gardens are a peaceful place to be, with the sound of fountains, soft conversation, and clinking glasses. Trust me when I tell you that you will not think you are in the middle of a major city.

But what really stays in my memory are the cocktails, the reason why I always return, which are made with the skill of an artist and the warmth of Italian hospitality. Without a doubt, their whiskey sours are the best in Rome. They are perfectly balanced, smooth, and have that effortless sophistication that only this place can give you. Every sip feels like a toast to the small things in life.

A visit here isn't just a moment; it's an experience that stays with you. I shall soon return, looking for more of this feeling.

I didn't stay at the hotel but went there for coffee and dessert. The coffee was excellent but the dessert was bad. The staff were okay but took a long time to bring us the bill after we asked for it four times. The place is great and a must visit.

The hotel itself, with its stunning location, elegance, and design, is simply beyond compare. Absolutely fantastic. But what really makes the difference compared to other five-star hotels I have stayed in are the people. From the very first moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. At reception, everything was explained perfectly by Octavian, and we were given a tour of the hotel. Even though we arrived early, our room was already prepared, and we were personally shown to it with great care and attention. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire Concierge Team, who were able to arrange wonderful last-minute tickets for the Vatican Museums and Villa Borghese, even though they were officially sold out. We were also very grateful and delighted with all the excellent restaurant and café recommendations. Marina, Alessio, Tito, and the whole team were simply outstanding. Furthermore, we would like to thank you for the incredible breakfast experience. Another highlight on our short vacation was Mario and his team. They made each morning truly special with their warm, attentive, and genuine hospitality. Mario surprised us every day with wonderful local specialties that we would never have discovered without him. It was simply perfect. A big thank you also to all the other team members we did not have the chance to meet in person this time. I am already very much looking forward to hopefully returning soon to the beautiful Hotel de Russie.
