Casale San Pietro in Anagni

Our stay at Casale has now become a core memory for my wife and I. Life as it should be. Joe & Alana were natural hosts who made everything we experienced better in every way. A humble luxury where perfect views, the best tours imaginable and meals that brought everyone together were just the beginning. The people who we met as strangers quickly became a found family that raised the bar in my mind for what it takes to be a quality human. The best tiramisu in Italy (and we tried our weight in options before we said that)! When you go, try something from the happy tray that you have never had before. Also, the spa/massage options are the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. We cried when we left. Tears of joy for what we experienced, of grief for having to leave, and of hope to come back some day. We hugged Joe and Alana as well as all of the other guests.

We had the most magical wedding weekend at Casale ✨ A calm and beautiful arrival on Friday, an amazing wedding on Saturday, and the perfect ending with a relaxing pool day on Sunday. The whole weekend was filled with delicious food, wonderful hospitality, and incredible support every step of the way. Thank you for making our wedding weekend so special and unforgettable 💛

We have just returned from a wonderful 5 day holiday at this fabulous boutique hotel, where we took part in a 3 day cookery masterclass. I have been on many cookery holidays but i have to say this was extremely well organised and well planned, plus the food was amazing! There are only six beautifully appointed rooms in the most beautiful countryside, we felt truly spoilt as all the staff were very attentive, especially the owners Alana and Joe who were always around to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was like staying with friends and i cant wait to return.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at Casale San Pietro after hearing so much about it from friends that had already visited. It is difficult to describe the beauty and tranquility of being nestled in an Italian hillside, surrounded by olive groves with far reaching views beyond. Joe and Alana are not only lovely people, but also the most incredible and attentive hosts. They, and their wonderful team, worked so hard to ensure that we had everything we needed and more!... and their experience and knowledge of the area made us feel that we had both seen and learnt so much during our stay ..... we will definitely be back again! The food was exceptional and the Casale so tastefully decorated yet incredibly homely and relaxing that it made it very difficult to leave! A little gem .... thank you so much Joe and Alana!

Our first visit to Casale San Pietro, virtually all the other guests had stayed several times before. It's easy to see why. Alana and Joe are excellent hosts who go above and beyond to make everyone happy and relaxed. The Casale is beautiful with an informal and fun vibe and Lavanda was a fabulous room for us with a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. We had great day trips with Joe to Tivoli, Ninfa & Caserta on the Gardens Tour and the Easter Eggstravaganza weekend was super fun.

A return visit and always a wonderful experience Alana & Joe create an exceptional environment and incredible service. Wonderful location, fabulous food and total relaxation. The rooms are really well equipped with very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect in every way.

Lovely accommodation, great hosts and staff and two cats and a beautiful dog! We didn’t enjoy the towns close by as much as the towns in Tuscany and unfortunately for us the weather wasn’t very good so we didn’t get to make the most of the facilities i.e. pool etc. We had hired a car but you are able to hire their hotel car for the day if need be, which is a bonus! If you can afford it the group dinners organised by the hosts for all the guests were wonderful. It was a great chance to share stories over a meal. It’s a great place to spend a few days and just enjoy the accommodation. Sitting around the open fire reading and playing games was such fun or on the porch looking out onto the beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was our second visit to Casale San Pietro, this time returning with members of the family. The reason we returned was simply that we knew the personal level of service provided by Joe and Alana would be perfect for our extended family - and it was. We had three rooms linked together by a large terrace albeit, as the communal areas are so lovely, we generally spent our time downstairs, either on our own or with the other guests. This is a small hotel and that facilitates amazing service levels. It was one family member's birthday during our visit and, without being asked, Joe and Alana ordered an incredible cake from a nearby bakery. We did trips to Fiuggi, Tivoli, Villa d'Este and Rome, all of which were amazing and excellent value for money. There is so much to see in this area - it's very understated given the wealth of beautiful towns and architecture. An extremely high proportion of guests rebook on departure (as we did last time) so it is increasingly difficult to book in. Get organised early and try this place - you will absolutely love it!

Traveled from the US with a large group for our sons wedding to Casale San Pietro. With high expectations and hopes we were blown away. Everything Alana and Joe and their staff did was geared towards a positive and successful event. The setting is amazing, the rooms are top notch, the service is always ahead of your thoughts, and the food was wonderful, filling, and well done. Add to that the ability to be immersed in the local culture and beautiful surrounds, even the occasional rain shower added to the beauty of the event, and never did it deter the staff or guests from enjoying time together. This is truly a magical place. Warm and inviting in so many ways. Highly recommend.
