Hotel de la Ville exceeded all expectations! The rooms were stylishly with a touch of elegance, and the rooftop terrace/ Bar/ Restaurant offered breathtaking views of the city. The staff were warm and attentive, and the location near the Spanish Steps was perfect for exploring Rome's highlights. A truly unforgettable stay!" 5/5 stars!

Beautifully restored hotel with lots of lovely decorations. First night and check in was a bit rough and took a long time, but second night, we were upgraded to a lovely junior suite with a beautiful terrace and sitting area on upper floor. Breakfast was lovely and specially the attendants were amazing. Spa was phenomenal, Helena was so personable and amazing. Alessandra did my nails and was absolutely fantastic. Concierge team were phenomenal and so nice. They tried to assist with everything from hair appointment to restaurant reservation. Marylyn and Annie from management were wonderful and really made our stay one of a kind. The location is fantastic right by the Spanish steps.

We visited this property on our honeymoon and everything was top notch! We stayed in the Roma suite which was absolutely divine. Service food and everything in between was first class plus!

The hotel was amazing—every detail met my expectations. I truly enjoyed the breakfast and the coffee, and the service was incredibly friendly. I loved the thoughtful details in the room, and the spa products were exceptional. I honestly felt like I was staying in a villa rather than a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and I already wish to come back. The breakfast was outstanding, and the pancakes were absolutely delicious. It’s hard to describe in just a few words what this stay meant to me—it truly exceeded my expectations.

My stay at the Rocco Forte Hotel was simply magical. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a haven of peace and luxury. The architecture is stunning, harmoniously integrated with nature, and every space in the hotel exudes serenity. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and have fragrant linens! The cleanliness is a highlight; everything is impeccable, fragrant, and welcoming. I felt cared for the entire time. It's the kind of place you never want to leave, perfect for those seeking sophistication with a Caribbean soul and a luxurious experience connecting with nature.

I was very well received! The staff is super friendly and helpful from check-in onward. The room is comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated — just like the photos. The space is peaceful, well-organized, and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

My husband and I travel to Rome almost every year for our anniversary. We stay at the Hotel De La Seville. The hotel manager Jacques and staff, are professional, kind, and the warm welcome, making each stay experience like no other. We absolutely love this hotel. Several friends have stayed there also, from our recommendation and feel the same. The room accommodations, and food is top-tier. The breakfast spread is a wide selection of the freshest fruit, breads, pastries, meats, eggs made to order and array of drinks and herbal tea. The fine rooftop dining is elegant and romantic. In my opinion De La Seville is the best hotel stay in all of Rome.

Our stay at Hotel de la Ville in Rome, part of the Rocco Forte collection, was nothing short of exceptional. Though it was our first time at this property, we’re longtime fans of the brand—and this experience only deepened our loyalty. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the seamless check-in, the service throughout was impeccable. Our duplex suite was elegantly designed, with every detail and amenity thoughtfully curated. Breakfast was a standout—an elevated mix of buffet and à la carte, with our order remembered daily, adding a personalized touch we truly appreciated. The attention to our seven-year-old son was heartwarming and genuinely thoughtful. We stayed five nights and felt completely at home—chic, comfortable, and consistently cared for. A truly flawless Roman escape.

My husband I recently stayed at the Hotel de la Ville for our wedding. We wanted to organize a welcome cocktail party the night before the actual wedding, so we decided to book the Cielo Terrace for the event. Miriana – thank you for everything you did for us. We thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and beyond the professional relationship, we also felt we connected with you on a personal level. Miriana took care of every detail from the moment we booked the venue. From the overall timing of the actual event to the food and drinks, from the decor of the space to our stay at the hotel, not only did she take care of everything but she also made our vision come to life. We were so happy with how the event turned out, and we even received such wonderful feedback from our guests as well. My husband and I are very detail-oriented people, and impressing us is no easy feat. Miriana and her team went above and beyond for us; they even delivered a bottle of Champagne and a handwritten note to the room for when we returned to the hotel after the wedding. If you and your partner are looking for a beautiful venue for your special day or if you're just looking for a romantic getaway, we couldn't recommend the Hotel de la Ville enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Hotel de la Ville. The hotel is located on a quiet street in the center of the city, directly above the Spanish Steps. The staff is attentive, warm and helpful and provide a true five-star experience. The rooms feel new, spacious and welcoming and are a great place to unwind. The rooftop restaurant and bar have a gorgeous view of the city and, while expensive, the food and drinks are delicious.
In addition to staying at the hotel, we hosted a dinner in the hotel's courtyard. Simona, the hotel's Group & Event Planning Manager, was wonderful to work with. She was friendly, kind and accommodated our various needs. She made it a seamless experience and all of our guests were wowed by the space.
I have stayed in various hotels in Rome, but this is by far my favorite, due to the location, staff and restaurant.
