The staff at the reception were extremely kind, always smiling and ready to help.
The room itself was very cozy, with a large comfortable bed. Everything was clean, and the room had a hair dryer, plenty of towels, tea, coffee, a kettle, and even small complimentary sets with a toothbrush, makeup remover pads, cotton swabs, and other useful items, which was a very nice touch.
The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of options — teas, coffees, omelets, and much more. There was also plenty of seating available, so it never felt crowded.
The location is convenient, not far from the airport, which made traveling very easy.
I truly enjoyed my stay.

If you come here after dark and leave before sunrise, maybe just maybe this is an acceptable hotel. If you spend any more time in the hotel and room you start to notice that it is filthy, I mean beyond disguising. Once you see how bad it is been cleaned you want to wear gloves and shower constantly. Stay at your own risk.

It was okay, though the air conditioning only had heating and no cooling, but it wasn't a big issue.

Arrived late at 3am but the key system did not work at all, the hotel gave me a room key instead. The rooms are also very old.

Well located hotel close to the Fiumicino airport with convenient (extra cost) shuttle service.
Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, but only one working plug in the room. Decent and well priced breakfast (paid at time of booking), which very conveniently starts at 6:00 AM, which is great if you are traveling early that day.
On the negative side, there was no way you can bypass the steps going to the elevators at the lobby or at least I didn't see how you could do it. The corridors leading to the rooms looked dingy but gives but the rooms were fine inside. They were clean and had a nice big shower and a comfortable bed.
I booked the hotel directly on the Mercure website where it said that by joining the Mercure club I will get a 5% discount on the overall rate. The discount was not applied however and when I contacted the hotel, they said there was nothing they can do.

I want to give it 4 stars, but I can't.
The staff is proficient, kind and welcoming everywhere and the breakfast is pretty good, but rooms need further improvement and modernization.
My most significant issues were with the heating and the window blinds. Now, in late December, I have found myself shaking from cold in the morning under the thin blanket, even though I set the heating to the maximum temperature. I have noticed a noticably significant amount of cold comes in from under the balcony doors.
As for the blinds, light came through between the wall and the curtains, no matter how I adjusted them.
A small but mentionable problem is the lack of noise insulation. I am fully aware the hotel is right at the end of a runway, but still, this can be improved by new and proper windows.
Regarding the beds, mattresses are a bit hard, but that's up to personal preference

Terrible experience. The room was old, and the facilities were broken. The toilet cistern switch was faulty, causing the water to drip constantly.

I arrived late at night and had an early flight to Rome the next day, so I booked this hotel near the airport. The location is indeed good. I heard they have tennis courts, which I unfortunately didn't have time to try this visit. I'll save that for next time, haha!
