Optimus B&B in Rome

This was our first visit to Rome and our stay at Optimus was exceptional. Our host, Andrea, greeted us upon arrival, assisted with luggage storage, and offered great suggestions on where to get our phone serviced. Additionally, throughout our stay he checked in with us offering suggestions and recommendations around Rome. The room was spotless, a well stocked refrigerator with snacks and drinks, and we had Netflix. Each morning we had excellent coffee, pastries and a variety of fresh fruits and cereals. Andrea even provided an area in the kitchen to create a box lunch for the day ahead. Upon departure, he surprised us with a box lunch for our train trip to Florence and a souvenir gift. We look forward to staying here again when we return to Rome.

Andrea is the lad. Great host, very accommodating, friendly and giving awesome recommendations. The rooms are immaculate with everything you might need. Check-in and check-out is a very easy, perfectly explained process. The breakfast is great as well, and overall it's the best B&B experience I ever had in my life! The location is superb for those who want to be central but at the same time in 40 min tops to the airport.

We had a fantastic experience at Optimus BB. Andrea, the owner, was a wonderful and generous host—he truly made us feel at home. He took great care of us, and it honestly felt like we were visiting family. The location is ideal, right across from the train station, making travel easy and convenient. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to the day.Andrea even packed us lunch boxes for the airport and provided lovely souvenirs to take home—such a thoughtful touch! We definitely plan to come back and stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and memorable stay.

The host, Andrea is the best host I have ever encountered. He is the epitome of Italian hospitality. We will definitely come and stay here again. He pampered us with snacks and gifts. Highly recommended. We were caught in the train strike so our itinerary was affected and he granted our request to keep our luggage while we travel outside of Rome. The room is kept clean and the kitchen is superbly stocked with a very impressive coffee maker. There is a small pod coffee machine in the room too. Good hot water shower, comy bed, overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Great location across from train station. Video of directions from train station to location was very helpful. Stocked fridge, very clean. Great food court at the train station. Location is close to everything. Andrea is a fantastic host. Would highly recommend this location.

Excellent accommodation everything we needed and more. Andreas exceptionally lovely man who went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Excellent location very near to bus station and tour buses and attractions easy to reach on foot.

Amazing, if we could rate higher we would. Very close to the Rome main train station and only a 20 minute walk to many of Rome’s tourist attractions. Andrea is incredibly helpful and attentive, going out of his way to make your stay in Rome a pleasure. The breakfast is more than ample and varied, coffee/tea machine in both breakfast room and own room. Modern, clean, quiet facilities, good size room. Thank you Andrea for making our stay so memorable, we will be sure to return when next in Roam

Could not fault the welcome we received from Andrea! Before we even arrived, he sent a informative video of how to get to the property and ensured he wad there for our arrival. Once there, he was so warm and welcoming and very informative of local places to eat, drink and visit. The room was flawlessly clean, mini fridge stocked and we can't wait for breakfast tomorrow! 10/10

From booking to day of departure everything was exceptional, he went above and beyond and gave so many recommendations and suggestions. Such detailed directions and options if arriving but bus, taxi or train. If you're looking for somewhere to stay this is the place! Amazing service, so friendly. It was immaculate, the AC rooms on return back after a day exploring was welcomed. It was the little things, such as we don't drink coffee but tea so he fully stocked us with tea, the little bottle of prosecco on arrival, a fully stocked fridge with snacks and yoghurt and milk etc. The chocolate on the pillow. The daily cleaned space. He checked in regularly and advised us of events in the city, that was great. He went over and beyond and exceeded all expectations! We are so grateful to have found a little gem. A great location a minute from the train station, and a short walk to the Colloseum and Trevi fountain. If you don't fancy the walk there is buses and hop on and off a minute walk away. Thanks for eveything, we will be back!

One of the best B&B to stay in when Rome! We stayed 4 nights and Andrea spoiled us for the rest of our Italy trip. Very short walk from Rome Termini Train Station and Andrea sent us detailed instructions how to walk there, including photos. He was there to show us around and explain how everything works and provided us with maps and other local information. The room was comfortable, bed was great, there was a small safe, plenty of hot water and very clean. Plenty of spaces to store your clothes. Mini fridge was stocked with water, milk, yogurts, cheese and daily premade sandwiches. Breakfast room was right there to serve yourself and take it to your room. It was plentyful: choices of coffees, tea, juices, cereals, fresh croissants/brioche, hot pizza, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cookies, etc. He was always available, either in person or by WhatsApp and his English is perfect. Location is excellent, we walked everywhere but public transportation is nearby. Just across the street is the Mercato Centrale, an amazing Food Court. It is part of the train station and so is Conad Supermarket plus other stores. There are some homeless people, just like everywhere else, but we felt safe walking around. It was a very pleasant stay and if we go back to Rome, we would stay at the Optimus B&B again. Highly recommend it!
