Unica Suites Rome in Rome

It’s very close to the pantheon and Fontana di trevi, however you have to get taxi to go to the colosseum and Vatican but that has nothing to do with the hotel. The receptionist is amazing, he is very informative and helpful! Anything you need they have it, our room was cleaned very well everyday and it has a small kitchen too! The security of the rooms is very good, you need double verification for each room and it makes you feel pretty safe. Overall it’s an excellent hotel, no complaints at all!!! (Snap issue is the elevator which is really old so each confusing to use and easily “broken”, but thanks to the staff it is no issue)

We stayed here with our 10-year-old for four nights in Dec-Jan 2026. The little twin bed in the entry was perfect for a child. They had lots of nice touches to make our stay more comfortable. We were able to borrow an AC adapter and wash our clothes in the utility sink when the airline lost our luggage, and the hotel had umbrellas for us to borrow. Wifi worked well too.

The location is super central--walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, a short bus ride to the Colosseum, and an easy metro ride to the Vatican.

I would recommend Unica Suites to anyone under 60 (older folks may not appreciate the lack of elevator).

We needed a truly irregular thing, two queen beds in a secure setting for our travels. It ended up being the deciding factor in Unica Suites becoming our home for the week. The room was a great blend of Hotel Room/Suite/1 bedroom apartment in one. House keeping was generally great, and available daily, which was a huge improvement over vacation rentals. The prices of some things were a little nutty (water bottles and nespresso pods), however, on a whole the stay was lovely. Our room had a previous cracked window, which mildly affected our view, however, it wasn't significant enough to change our overall experience.

I will say, had our room been lower than the top floor, we would have missed out on the view, and the entire experience would have been different/less desirable.

Lastly, the shower products are life changing. We have been trying to order them back to the states - and they don't exist for export - when we next visit rome, we will likely stay there again just for the shampoo and body wash, if nothing else.

The property not having a restaurant is a little less than ideal for late night dining after check in - however - a taxi across town found some solid late night dining options.

Great location within walking distance to many of Rome's sights. Rooms are spacious and modern and exterior matches the Rome's history. We had a bit of difficulty during checkin but this misunderstanding has been solved by following service. Worth

Superb location! At the heart of Trevi Fountain Spanish Steps and several other classic locations including restaurants and cafes. Very close to Metro and bus services.
Room good. Bed good.
To be in a very very busy area, it was very very quiet at night.
If had a quibble would be to improve the lighting in the room.
