In the hope that this testimony will prevent other dogs from experiencing the nightmare mine endured, I am providing this review.

I booked this place from December 30, 2025, to January 2, 2025, because the owner required a minimum stay of three nights during this holiday season. My goal was to protect my dog, who is phobic, from the New Year's Eve fireworks that are set off in Rome. I informed the owner and thoroughly explained to her, via email and phone, on several occasions since October 2025, the absolute necessity of not exposing my dog ​​to firecrackers and fireworks on New Year's Eve because he is PHOBIC, and I was looking for a place where I could be completely safe from this. I was told that no one sets off fireworks there because they all have dogs. The facility prides itself on being a NO FIREWORKS facility, and I confirm that no fireworks were ever set off there. It's a shame that right next door, almost all the neighbors put on fireworks from 11:58 PM to 12:15 AM; it sounded like a real bombing. The property is located among other houses; it's not isolated at all; in fact, it's surrounded by other properties. On both December 30th and 31st, there were some firecrackers. Before booking, I was told that they might be heard "in the distance," but definitely not nearby. But no, they were right NEXT DOOR.
Sensitized by the firecrackers on the afternoon of December 30th, by the evening of December 30th, my dog ​​no longer wanted to leave the room, even to do his business. We went out on the morning of the 31st at 8:00 AM, then briefly for lunch, and then, due to more firecrackers, the dog again refused to go out into the garden. This intense anxiety quickly turned to terror with the bombing on New Year's Eve, when I seriously risked watching my dog ​​die of a heart attack, despite the TV being turned up to full volume: convulsions, drooling, freezing, and tachycardia. The only positive note was that the bombing lasted a short time, about a quarter of an hour. The real problem was that I hadn't expected it at all, having been reassured by the owner that "no one would set off fireworks in that area since everyone had dogs."
My mistake was assuming that this person had done the necessary research, since I had made it clear that I had a dog PHOBIC. However, this wasn't the case; in fact, given the scale of the bombing, it's highly likely that the same practice has occurred in other years as well.

I checked out at 10:00 the next day, January 1, 2026, a day early, complaining about the blatant impropriety. I was told that she couldn't vouch for the others and I was forced to pay the 3 nights + the tourist tax anyway, for a whopping 274 euros.
