Hotel Lago di Como in Colico

Our stay started off very well, then we had a problem with the room furniture: the mattress was sinking and giving us back pain. We alerted reception in the morning; the problem was supposed to be resolved, but when we arrived, they had swapped the two mattresses. We alerted reception again, and the necessary action was taken. The supervisor offered us dinner for the evening. We thanked him for this gesture. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were treated undignified by the dining room manager. Although drinks were not included in the offer, we did not receive the drinks menu. We decided to leave the restaurant. When we arrived in the room in the evening, we realized that the changed mattress did not fit the bed base. The mattress was too small and was sinking. We went to see the receptionist to explain the situation. Then, the dining room manager began to speak haughtily and raise his voice. He was completely unprofessional.

The next day at breakfast, we ordered a cappuccino from a waitress. I went to get my cappuccino, and the front-of-house manager snatched my cup from my hands. This behavior is unacceptable.

The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly; I thank them for their professionalism and kindness.

beware , the beautiful resort photo is a fake . the actual is shown . we paid for a lakeside resort we got a 3 star hotel beside the main road with no view and small old rooms . i appreciate the 1 day refund but we didn’t really get any sleep on our roadside room with so much traffic noise , the toilet and shower was too small . and please don’t say it’s not your photo , it’s very obvious - just apologise and offer a full refund
