Radisson Collection Hotel Santa Sofia in Milan

Avoid this place at all costs. Don't choose this hotel if you're coming to Milan. I've been using Trip.com for over 10 years, and this is the first time I've given a hotel the absolute lowest rating across the board. It's advertised as a 5-star hotel, but the service is 1-star. All the staff were incredibly cold, especially the stern-looking Muslim lady at check-in and the Black gentleman who seemed to be a doorman. On the night I checked in, a white guy in a jacket was very enthusiastic and helpful with my luggage. Everyone else, without exception, was completely indifferent. For a suite costing over 4,000 RMB a night, the main picture showed a bathtub, but when I arrived, they said there wasn't one, and their attitude was appalling. The bottled water in the room had already been opened. The head of the bed was right up against the bathroom door. There was no luggage rack. The bathrobe was placed in the shower area, directly opposite the showerhead, so it was essentially getting washed while I was showering. There was no door on the shower stall. The tissue dispenser was empty. And there was hair on the bed!!!!!! Over 4,000 RMB a night isn't cheap, but it's not outrageously expensive either, yet it was worse than the New Cairo Marriott, which costs 1,000 RMB. You could order some egg-related breakfast items à la carte, but no staff member ever mentioned this. Trip.com did compensate me with an 800 RMB credit, so Trip.com is still responsible.
