I almost cancelled based on the reviews here but I’m happy I didn’t. During my visit everything was superb clean and in order, the whole place was recently renovated and the receptionist was also nice and welcoming. Also I don’t understand the comments about it being far from the center when there’s a subway station 5 min away and it takes 10 min to Centrale … overall I’m very happy with the hotel.

It is like an old hostel with almost everything broken or not working correctly. It should cost 5 euros

Hotel isn’t located in the center. We were taking bus 70 every day, it was our private bus lol. The cheapest though and you get what you pay for. Private room, towels in the room, quiet place and not the best bathroom 🚽 but it’s okay. If you want better pay more

Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. Despite the high room rates, the accommodation did not have air conditioning or a private bathroom. The room had a damp and uncomfortable atmosphere during the three nights my friend and I stayed.

What was more concerning, however, was the safety. There were individuals staying at the hotel who seemed to be in serious trouble with the law. Unfortunately, my friend and I were harassed by some of these guests, and when we went to the receptionist for assistance, we were met with a rude and dismissive response. It felt like the staff were indifferent to our concerns.

As a first-time visitor to Milan, this experience was very distressing and took away from what should have been an enjoyable trip. I hope future guests are made aware of these issues for their safety and comfort.

Cleanliness at a tragic level and I do not understand how guests can be admitted to such filth. Bathroom disgusting-we just happened to have our own in the room. Many things in the room need renovation - the walls to be repainted and the bathroom, above all, needs a lot of work. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the bathroom door, which from the humidity in there, was disintegrating and scrubbing against the floor.
The lady at the front desk was very nice, friendly and helpful. The location was okay because about 3 minutes walk to the subway station from where you could get to the center.

I stayed in a single room at Brivio Hotel for one night. The room was large and had a double bed. However, the shared bathroom on our floor was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. Additionally, there was a lot of noise from the street throughout the night. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently close to the metro station.

Shower was grim/ dirty, corridor outside was noisy from rooms and stank of cigarettes.

Where should I begin from? Embarrassing level of cleanliness, the "toilet" was full of puke. The room is old and stinky, furniture scratched and walls completely old,spider webs were above the window, the hairdryer was not working and embarrassingly repaired with a piece of tap. "Reception" looks like a tool both station I am fully aware of this hotel rating (two stars) but better sleeping in the street rather than paying 100€ for only two nights here! I am 100% sure that a jail cell would be definitely more comfortable!

I really hope that the hotel should improve its equipment to the same level. After all, people who travel are very tired when they return to the hotel and hope to have a clean and comfortable environment.
