Milan, Via Daniele Manin 7 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Clean. Stylish Calm. Close to a park and to the centre... just two things: Possibly ask clients what they would like to drink for breakfast... I always had to hunt for my coffee... and do refill tea and coffee in the rooms. For the rest: Compliment...
Good location and friendly staff at the reception, nice park across the street. But I was pretty shocked by how small the twin bed room was and the AC didn’t work properly. Unfortunately the breakfast was awful. Lots of options but the quality of the food was really bad. The reception area was very good for working as there were a lot of plug outlets and comfortable seats. The WiFi was a little temperamental...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, appreciating the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the delightful restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet. Everything was truly amazing. The only area that could benefit from some attention is the corridors, which appear not to have been renovated yet. Additionally, the cleaning products used in the room had a strong, unpleasant odor...
no complimentary water provided in room so we used the kettle to boil but both the cups and kettle in room were very dirty, we washed twice still very oily staff was nice and the amenities were good!
The hotel is centrally located, and amenities are great. The bed was comfortable and the access by metro easy. On a Saturday night the room on the first floor was very noisy until midnight due to a bar in the area.
It's a very old hotel, but the facilities are good. Because the breakfast is delicious and the overall room rate is lower than the surrounding areas, I stayed here twice in Milan. Opposite the hotel is a large park, which is very beautiful in spring. It's OK to walk to the city center to buy things. The surrounding sushi restaurants and ice cream shops are also delicious.

Opting for a room with a balcony was definitely the right choice! All my requests made during booking were met, and I was given a room with a fantastic view. The bathroom is incredibly spacious, featuring both a bathtub and a shower – very comfortable. The location is super convenient, with a metro entrance right outside the hotel. This particular station is also less crowded and very clean. It's...

The room was quite clean, and the breakfast was decent.
The hotel is very close to Milan Central Station, and it's only about a ten-minute, 5-metro-stop ride to the Duomo. The staff were polite, and for Milan, it offers great value for money.
Excellent hotel! The location is great, very close to the central train station, within walking distance. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel. The service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast is fantastic. Overall, a very satisfying stay! 👍
This place could easily be a 4 or 5-star hotel by domestic standards, and having the subway right downstairs is incredibly convenient.

Good hotel, great location. Very good variety for the breakfast, lots of different cakes, breads and pasties. Staff at the breakfast were super nice. Room is simple, but provides a good nights sleep. Conditioner would be nice to have. Towels smell a little weird.
This hotel is super close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. There's a Penny supermarket right next door, which is great for picking up fresh groceries. While the hotel's facilities are a bit older, they are very clean, tidy, and make for a cozy stay.
It’s great location. Just in front of Milano Central Station and there are lots of Italian restaurants and supermarkets. Concierge is great and I enjoyed breakfast as well.
The room is really nice and clean! Even comes with a complimentary mini bar. Recommended!
Staying at the hotel that shares my name was a fantastic opportunity. The hotel's location was very easy, both from the airport and to get to attractions. The hotel is in a safe area. We were very pleased and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything.
Hotel Berna is a great choice for travelers, especially with its convenient walking-distance location from Milano Centrale Train Station. The accessibility makes it perfect for both short stays and onward journeys. The breakfast served is good, though the selection is limited, offering mainly European-style options. Still, the quality is satisfying for a simple start to the day. The rooms are clean...

Very nice and old restaurant of Milan, quality and service is perfect $$$
Amazing Hotel in the heart of Milan! Staff is definitely professional ( but could smile more :)) and the service as well. Beautiful place to spend holidays or relaxing moments and where you will enjoy the charming and elegant Italian atmosphere.
All in gold and "nagatomo" :-)
Stayed here 3 days and can notice excellent location! Stuff is helpful a lot) breakfast is reach enough and also you can visit spa...so impression is very good, even room was quite small)
The bar is beautiful and the cocktails we had were amazing. The bar snacks served with the cocktails were also diverse and impressive. The restaurant on the other hand massively disappointed. Food was average at best while being the most expensive meal we had on our two weeks in Italy. The restaurant is dark and decorated like an old supper club with out of place pop art pieces mixed with the traditional...

Great hotel, the rooms were very nice and clean. Staff is very kind and helpful. We were able to leave our baggage at the hotel until check in time. Location is good, not too central but there is a subway & train station nearby. The only thing that bothered us, was the loudness from the street, even with the windows closed you could hear people talking loudly. If that’s not a problem for you I definitely...
Perfect mix of comfort, professional hospitality and functionality. And a reasonable price, which in Milano has become almost impossible to find. If you are in Milano for business in the city life area, this is the hotel you want to stay at.
Lovely hotel with in a convenient location in Milan at a comfortable walking distance from train station Garibaldi. The room was clean and comfortable enough for three nights, especially after a long day of walking. The breakfast was also varied enough. Would definitely recommend it!
Single room was compact but not in a negative way - I might have gotten a recently renovated or refreshed one as I did not notice any wear and tear as mentioned in other comments. Comfortable mattress, spotless bathroom with nice products, and a large open wardrobe area. I would give one less star for the non existent noise insulation - I could clearly hear and *understand* conversations in adjoining...
The rooms were spotless, and to my surprise, the bathroom was also very clean and well-maintained. The room had a pleasant, fresh scent, which made the stay even more comfortable. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the hotel’s location was very convenient — within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Overall, a lovely stay and a place I can definitely recommend.

The service was incredibly attentive, and they made sure we were comfortable at all times. The breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were perfect. Plus, it's super close to the Duomo and the entire city center, so you can easily rest whenever you need to during your trip.
An excellent hotel considering its location, clean rooms, and very high-class staff service. It's also conveniently located near the Duomo and all the luxury shops (a 10-minute walk). i pay for 2 nights 300 euro for the price its normal for deluxe hotels in italy not expienceve
Not bad at all, it's small but has everything you need, and the location is very convenient. If I get the chance to go to Milan again, whether for business or leisure, I'd definitely consider this hotel. I hope they maintain their standards.
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Milan Cathedral. The staff are warm and fluent in English. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's fresh and delicious.
Excellent stay with top-notch amenities and service! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city.

My stay at Portrait Milano was brief, as I was in town for Milan Men’s Fashion Week Winter ’25, but it left a lasting impression. The room was beautifully appointed, with a refined Art Deco design language that felt both modern and timeless — understated luxury done very well. One of the highlights of the stay was unexpectedly running into Javier, whom I first met years ago at Portrait Roma. It was...

A very nice hotel in a grand old château. It's not very large, so the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. Located a bit outside the city center, it still has excellent connections to downtown and Linate Airport. The best way to get to the city center is by the vintage tram, for example, line 19. For Linate Airport, the metro station is right outside the hotel; alternatively, you can take a taxi to the...
Beautiful rooms, in a useful location close to the centre of Milan. Food at breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of high quality. The Spa was an added bonus, a calming and relaxing place to spend time. Service throughout the hotel was friendly, efficient and warm - which made our stay extra special.
This hotel was awarded to my favorite hotel during this European trip.
All amenities were great and rooms were good, just that the location is near a subway station, and staying on the first floor, the subway could be heard everytime. Gym was quite small too.
Nice 5-star hotel with a unique and somewhat whimsical, fairytale-like style. I stayed here for the second time recently, and while the decor can be a bit over the top, the overall experience is solid. The location isn’t right in the center, but it’s still fairly central and well-connected, making it convenient enough for exploring Milan without being in the middle of the crowds. Overall, it's a good hotel. The linens are comfortable, and the room size is just right. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious. It's very conveniently located, only a 5-minute walk to the Central Station, specifically on its southwest side. From here, you can catch airport buses to Bergamo and Linate airports. The Malpensa airport bus stop is on the other side of the station.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location, being close to the train station. Milan is a major transportation hub in Italy, so it's super easy to get anywhere, and you can even take a bus directly from the airport to the hotel. However, we had some unpleasant experiences during our stay. The toilet bin hadn't been emptied, and our door was accidentally opened by staff. But the...
Location is excellent. Just few minutes walk from main station, and near many restaurants. Room is spacious. No issue to spread open 2 large luggages. Unfortunately was assigned the 1st floor unit with window opening out to almost street level. Only issue is lack of essential power points besides bed.
Convenient location and good room facilities
The hotel was average but quite practical in its location. I feel the photos are much better than the reality of the hotel. I felt the breakfast room was a bit sad, and the choices just ok- not great. When I asked the waitress for a coffee creamer, she said they didn’t have any. They only had milk. Interestingly there were coffee creamers in the room itself. The decoration of the room needed updating

Nice, basic, business hotel. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Which is the whole idea when you just need a clean place to sleep. Very well located, 9 minutes walk to Ca Granda Metro station. Nice breakfast buffet. Lobby desk staff very attentive.
Everything was very good (service, food, beds) except extremely old elevator, bathroom, rest rooms near taverna on the ground floor. This building must be renovated as soon as possible. Overall is quite good. We booked the double room for 2 adults and 1 kids (5 years old), but we have to upgrade our room to triple room with extra charge. I have complained about this because our child don't need to upgrade to triple room but they said this is the regulation of their hotel, while we also lived at novotel milano, they are not like this.

Overall, it was quite good. The staff were friendly, and it was a decent, reliable stay that didn't disappoint.
The room itself was clean and just as advertised. I booked this hotel since it advertised air conditioning. I am a very hot sleeper and need a fan or some kind of airflow. Friendly staff, great location near Milan Central Station.
The front desk staff are rather strict, but many of them are kind — they allowed me to store my luggage and told me that the restroom is on the lower floor. Breakfast is basic, not very diverse, but has all the essentials.
The room was nice, service was good, and the location was also great. The only downside was the ongoing renovation outside, which started at 8 AM and was quite noisy. I went out early in the morning to explore the old castle and the park. There's a delicious pasta place nearby, run by Wenzhou natives; I recommend their asparagus and shrimp pasta.
