The pool/lake area with the view is fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful and does everything they can to make guests feel at home. The breakfast is exceptional! We asked for a vegan breakfast and got a tailor-made vegan breakfast every day with changing treats. The “normal” buffet also had a changing selection of delicacies, cheese and cakes and the best: freshly squeezed orange juice. There are more than enough parking spaces and the lunch offer is also highly recommended. I also got a free room upgrade without having to ask and therefore had a room with lake view 🤩. In addition to the service staff at the buffet and reception, the cleaning staff deserves great praise as well. Top Service.
If I had to find something to criticize, it would be that it is a pity that we could not enjoy dinners in the hotel since only breakfast and lunch is offered. It would also be great if the whirlpool was heated and the shower jet in the rooms could be stronger 😁 but as I said, that's complaining on a high level.
We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend the hotel to others. Thank you Hotel Bel Sit and staff for a lovely stay 🫶🏼
Location is also very good to plan a day-trip to the Borromean Islands.

A great place to be around Lago Maggiore.
Most appreciated at the property is the staff and the view. On your balcony, you are about twenty feet from the lapping water of the beautiful lake. The view is sensational and we were lucky to have a full moon rise over the lake one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A local note. Not sure you could do much without a car. Parking was available and convenient without many guests in the hotel. We greatly enjoyed a visit to the palace and gardens on one of the Borromea Islands.
Probably won't be back to Lake Maggiori, but if so would gladly stay again.
