The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly. We had an attic room with a fantastic view. The breakfast was exceptionally extensive and delicious. Walking distance to the lively town center.

Super friendly welcome, new hotel with spotless rooms and bathrooms, top-notch breakfast, free minibar and in-room snacks! And we really appreciated being able to bring our dog; they gave us a room with a small garden. Highly recommended!

The rooms are as described on the website: comfortable beds, a sufficiently large bathroom, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, and everything is very clean. Rooms are available with balconies facing the evening sun or with garden views. Breakfast is excellent, as Caterina also owns two other restaurants in town (which, by the way – Filo et Fieno – are highly recommended; we had a really good meal there). There's a huge selection of homemade items, many of them organic, lots of local specialties, and something new every day. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking Villa Crespi, the mountains, and the lake. There's also an underground parking garage with about eight large parking spaces and an elevator. The staff was exceptionally friendly – we felt very well looked after; adapters were provided, etc. Free water and plenty of snacks are also available. San Giulio Centro Storico is about a 15-minute walk away, a lovely stroll along the lake. We will definitely stay here again, as our children always end their trip at the nearby campsite. Excellent location near the lake, free from traffic noise and other noise, with reserved underground parking. Excellent welcome at the reception: very friendly, helpful, always smiling, and professional. Clean rooms with a small balcony overlooking the lake, air conditioning, and drinks and snacks available. Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory, with plenty of fruit and a variety, all of the highest quality. Special thanks to the owner who went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Thank you and congratulations. I definitely recommend it.

We spent two nights at the hotel after a last minute booking. We were really impressed by the attention to details that the owners had taken in the refurbishment of the hotel. All rooms were new and super clean. The bathrooms are really high quality. Everything was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet a real feast with a huge selection of both savoury and sweet foot and freshly made coffees on the spot. Very generous offering of all types of snacks and drinks welcomed us as well. Really impressive for a 3 star hotel, it’s more like 4 stars. Amazing value for money !

I stayed one night and found the room, like the rest of the hotel, to be very clean. The furnishings were basic, with a tiny refrigerator on the floor that was quite uncomfortable. The room urgently needed painting. Parking was very convenient, and the staff were friendly. The €15 breakfast could be improved: the coffee in the pot was cold, and there was a limited selection of fruit. The selection of savory options was good, which would certainly be appreciated by foreigners.

I dont understand why the hotel has such bad reviews... The rooms are super nice and the staff is super friendly!! The location is superb and I will defenitely be back when I am in Orta!! 10/10

We spent the weekend of the 14 and 15h of June. We were there for the swim race of the Oceanman 2024 like last year. On the day after the race, my grilfriend got beaten by two bulldogs that belong to the owner of the hotel. She got beaten so badly that we had to run to this hospital where we waited for 6 hours and left because no doctors were there to take care of her. I asked many times to the owner of the hotel if the dogs were vaccinated agains the rabies disease but she never showed us any prooves. The only excuse she had was that she did't know that clients were staying on the second floor and that's why she did let the dogs free. We were very frustrated about the situation because we had to put an end to the weekend and leave back to switzerland on the same day so that my girl friend could get cured. We never received any escuses neither news about how she was doing. I'm warning the guest to be very careful because the bulldogs are very dangerous and agressiv. They can attack any adults or childs and nobody in the hotel will carry any responsability. they just do't care!!! At thmoment my friend is still suffering from the injuries and she has been under antibiotics for the last month.
